How To Install A K&N Cold Air Intake On A 2017 Ford Expedition
Today I show you how to install the K&N Cold Air Intake onto your 2015-2017 Ford Expedition!
When I was doing the install I could not find any videos to help me so I made one so everyone else who bought the intake could have a smooth and easy install.
The total time was about two hours give or take. However mine took two weeks because I was missing the mass air flow sensor housing.
I would highly recommend this product as it greatly improved power, torque and throttle response as well as fuel economy. You also get a louder induction and turbo noise which is a added bonus. I have had it on for two years now and have had zero problems.

Have the same problem, that part of the sensor was not in the packaging 🤦🏻‍♂️ now I’m waiting to hear back from them

I called the company I bought it from but didn't get a confirming email so I called K&N directly and they sent me the part for free. Hope you get the part soon.

A little further down the tube there is a tiny little pipe that connects to the engine do you know what that is? The little plastic connector that attaches the tiny pipe from the engine to the big pipe from the cold air intake broke i dont know what the little pipe is called so i dont know where to start to fix it

I'll have to see what you mean in the engine bay with the piping, I do know there are hollow stubs that extend off the main intake pipes for what I am not sure.

Do we have to upgrade the exhaust for best performance? How much more BHP will you get and how about fuel consumption?

It helps, I removed both mufflers and the airflow is much improved and the sound is different than the raptor or F-150 therefore it sounds a little better in my opinion. With that setup I gained about 30 hp, I've done other stuff as well and am near 400 wheel. Fuel economy also improved but it all depends on how you drive.
