Here’s a step by step guide on how to install a yoke steering wheel for your Tesla Model 3 or Tesla Model Y.
In this video I go through each step and am sure to not skip any steps of installation. This yoke in particular requires a lot of original parts, so it was a bit more of an install process.
We will post our review of the yoke after a few weeks of using it!

Thanks for show the Real installation!!! Mines will hear any day now. I keep seeing the 5-10min installs and say how on the hell!!?? I had already set Aside 4-5 mental hours on a weekend after it arrives. Thanks again.

Honestly, if we did all the steps right, it would’ve been about an hour. But yes, I’d set aside at least 2 for this! Hopw this video helps!

This is true! Saving our opinion for a later review, but when I test drive an S, the wheel was blocking the front dash

@@vegasteslafamily, I’m not gonna lie, slow speed maneuvers and parking is a pain but I’ve learned to spin the yoke while applying firm pressure with the palm of my hand so it IS possible. However, freeway and interstate with the yoke- awesome!

I just installed mine everything worked great just my left scroll doesn’t switch music or volume up and down I have to uninstall and install it again

You should always use specific tools for jobs like this. A socket and torque set would have had the main screw out in no time. I’m also assuming your warranty is now void for removing the main bolt and thread seal that ensures security.

People struggle with the torque set I’ve seen too! But maybe. We can always throw the wheel back on!

@@vegasteslafamily I hope you give a honest pro and con argument in a few weeks. To be on the safe side, I suggest not pushing any particular product. I have that SEXY button configuration arriving on Tuesday and that was like dropping money into a black hole. Next to no communication with the company and a very long wait......we'll see Tuesday. I think the wait was for a new version but not indicated by the company. I had one email because I complained and that was it!

@@vegasteslafamily Nice of you to reply, thx. You made changing that steering wheel look pretty straightforward now that you've gone thru the pain of learning the procedure. I really liked that video! I've decided to keep my 2021 M3 LR as it lost so much value in this crazy market that trading up is not a smart move. Besides that, I love it except for the harsh ride on rough roads which is more the roads fault not the car.

Please help, I installed mine and had a ton of alerts and warnings, also a grinding sound from the frunk was happening. And it tried to brake. Did you get any warnings?

@@apolloxgod we’re you able to fix it ? I got the same alerts I didn’t get the frunk noise but it said mis alignment and traction control off

I actually was, for me I had to completely shut down the car. Disconnect the battery and unhook the black and red cable. But first unlock and open all doors and windows. After that it was all easy. But let me add, I got one of the steering wheels from Amazon which had all the Tesla logos and labels. Cost about 100$ more, so I can’t tell if it’s the more expensive wheel or the fact that I shut it down first. But those where the 2 new things I did differently to be successful this time.
