How To Install Belltech 3" Lowering Leaf Springs On Toyota Pickup

We installed the belltech 3" lowering leaf spring which only gave us only 2" drop. Hopefully once they settle in they will drop the extra inch. Soon we will install the front drop kit and be done with the suspension.

Thanks for sharing. I have an 87 Toyota pickup with drop blocks on it. Drivers side leaf spring is dead. I didn't know which way to go. You gave me a great idea with beltech.✌️

Check out our recent video where we lowered a 95 pickup, we used street edge and its the exact same thing but cheaper than belltech. Also we dont recommend belltech shocks if you decide to go with their dropkit

I already have a 3 inch lowering block installed on my 92 Toyota pickup, can I install the 3” lowering leaf’s also to get a total of 6” drop on the rear? Or would I need to C notch the frame?

If you install the 3" drop leaf springs you would get a 6" drop but you would mostlikely have to notch the frame. After this video we added a 1" block so we are at a 4" drop and it bottoms out pretty quick. I think with a 6" drop you would be very close if nlt riding on the chassis

Yea you can still use blocks

Is that a 4 wheel drive bed?

Yes, but the 2wd sr5 trim levels also came with these beds

@@OXCFilms OK I thought something was up. I got a pretty clean 87 base model 4 speed with no rust anywhere for 300 bucks a couple months back and I've just been driving it and going through tune up stuff but I'm gonna lower it soon hopefully. It's got the bed with the rim around it which I kinda like on the 2wd are the ones on yours any wider?

@@OXCFilms yeah I was more than happy! If you get the chance to measure them out let me know! I know the 4x4 fenders are wider and that's that I'm doing up front since the passenger side is dented pretty bad. I'm wanting to go with some old school 15x8s lowered and I'm pricing together my 2jz swap atm just need a trans
