How To Install Coilovers | IS300

Had the day off so I decided to fix my key fob and install my new BC Racing BR type coilovers onto my Lexus IS300. Also, Brenden got his new car but it ain't a GT86.

going to be putting some coilovers on my IS soon. I haven’t seen anyone turn the wheel to avoid taking out the ball joint that’s what i was dreading. Did you have to to anything special on the rears?

that’s crazy i’ve never seen someone get the front strut out without removing the upper control arm. doing my 2nd set of coilovers on my 2nd IS and the upper is stuck to the spindle so this is great now that i don’t gotta remove it

Yo! Yeah I was able to somehow get it out without removing the upper arm. I may have gotten lucky tho cause I tried on my friends Jzx100 and the strut ended up getting stuck on the spindle. Let me know how it goes!

What spring rates did you go with?

Jumel Sulabo front 16k/rear 14k. It’s fine for daily but if you wanna be slammed I’d go stiffer.

Those wheels were 18x7.5

What size wheels where these? I have 225 on mine instead of 215

I believe they were 18x7.5 or 8.5 I can’t remember
