I just used my Gonshelf and it worked exactly like advertised. You don’t need even need painters tape. And if you can’t find a 4 inch angle grinder you can use a 41/2 “ grinder but use glue to fill the 1/2 inch space it will make it more sturdy.

Worked great! thanks! Dust is a problem for sure but i just watered down the shower after and it was generally fine. I also used a 4 1/2 inch blade, seems to be fine. really sturdy and i did over glue just to be safe even if i had to spend a little extra time on clean up. I did find it difficult to get the leveling done, it seemed as if it was impossible to get the cuts to exactly match from the left cuts to the right cuts, especially since my tiles on the shower are not exactly even on either side but I got it to fit in.
