How To Install Custom Dynamics Probeam Led Turn Signals

In this video I show you how easy it is to install the @Custom Dynamics AMBER/WHITE FRONT LED TURN SIGNAL INSERTS & REAR RED LED TURN SIGNAL INSERTS onto my 2021 Harley Davidson Street Glide Special. Big thank you to Custom Dynamics for sponsoring this video.
ProBEAM LED Dynamic Ringz turn signal inserts replace the factory front turn signal bulb and lens on Harley-Davidson motorcycles with bullet style turn signal housings. 1157 (US & Canada) or 1156 (International) bulb base available for plug and play installation. White outer ring illuminates as a bright white running light while the center blinks as a full contrast amber turn signal. Smoked lenses included for DOT or ECE compliance. Your rear led signal link goes to the 1157 type for US bikes. Ours bikes up here are the 1156 type.

Very true Doug, these Custom Dynamic rear light are 1156 not 1157. I also have the "triple play" from Custom Dynamics that allows the 1156 type to run as, running lights, break and turn signals. Thanks for your comment and for watching.

How did you avoid hyper flash? Is it possibly because you have a newer bike?

Hey, I think it’s because of the bike being newer or the other Custom Dynamics connections I have under the seat. Either way you can do the thing to stop it, I’m sure there is a video on YT somewhere about how to do it

@@TheMilitaryBiker thanks for the quick response. After further research the newer bikes have a can bus operating system. The older bikes which I have do not and require a signal stabilizer. The triple play worked for the back but after adding the front it's another hundred bucks. Thanks again.

I bought a set for my 2014 Street Glide. Take the old lens cover and bulb out and put the new LED bulb in. The covers absolutely has kicked my ass. Pushed the factory gasket in like the directions say...Custom Dynamics lens won't stay on. Even trimmed the factory gasket with an exacto blade. Still won't click on. Even tried them without the LED bulb in and they won't stay on! Of course I was working on it after they closed. Will call tomorrow and see WTF is up.

Waiting for a call back from their tech dudes right now. Probably tell me to use them without the gaskets.

@@kevin00714 Maybe they will, to be honest the OEM ones don't come with the gaskets (as you know) so it will probably work and keep your LED's dry.

@@TheMilitaryBiker They sent me a new set of lens at no charge. Still won't stay on with the gasket in place. Just gonna use them without the gasket. Like you said, never had a gasket in the OEM lens and never had a problem. Love the saddlebag lights I got from them at the same time. Probably get their front LED's too.
