ProBeam LED Indicator install on 2021 Sport Glide with 1156 bulb fittings

I looked everywhere for a youtube video on how to fit these ProBeam LED front indicators to a 1156 bulb fitting but had no luck in finding one. So I thought I would work it out and upload a video to help others. Most videos on fitting these indicators are in the US and they have 1157 bulb fitting on the front so a very simple fitting. I hope you find it useful.

Thanks from Australia mate! Got my probeams in the mail today thinking they were just plug and play only to discover the white run wire 😫. Thanks to your video the install process will now be done with far less mistakes. Cheers!

Hello Martin, really a Well done video and very clear, I've been looking at these for some time. Now I will buy them, anything that makes other road users see you more clearly are a must for us Bikers. Thanks for taking the time to explain how it's done and look forward to other upgrades.

good morning Martin, really pleased the video was of some use. I am so happy with the mod, a real improvement and like you say we need all the help we can get to be seen especially in these winter days. All I will say is take your time with feeding the wire through the bars, it will come but takes a little fiddling. Also make sure you push the rubber boot back away from the existing reflector on each indicator or it will be a real struggle to get the new unit in. Hello Bill good to see you, yep part of my old tool kit I had when I was an apprentice back in the late 60s. I was told that if you look after your tools, they look after you so not bad advice

I have the LED turn signals on my SportGlide special...but annoyed they're only turn signals not running lights. Thankyou for your vid mate, explains why they are like they are...and when I get around to upgrading them..this tutorial will come in very handy! Cheers.....

Hello Martin,these indicators look the part in led,and DRL as well in one light.very awkward to install but the results are amazing,I bet they are awesome in the dark.

@@Wavehead1773 I bought them from my local Harley dealership. I have just checked Harleys web site and they dont seem to have them but I have also seen them on e bay.

I sprayed Autoglym vinyl and rubber care which helped lubricant the rubber to help it come out easier and also the rubber boot at the back

Hog parts sell these lamps. I looked and found that the connector for the indicators under the tank are 4 pin plugs. On UK bikes only the earth and flasher circuit are used. One of the other terminals is live and this would be what the US models use. I am going to get the lamps with the JAE plugs (pt no. PB-AW-ECE-JAE ) and re wire with a 3 core cable to the indicators. (Nb 114 Fat Bob). No drilling of the original fittings. No use of scotch connectors.

I bought mine from my HD Dealership but you can buy them on E Bay, just google it

You could have just bought the Eagle LEDs and not had to mess with all that wiring.

That would only work for bikes made for the US. In the UK and I think Europe there is no permanent feed for the day running lights at the indicator. In the US its an easy swap over but not for bikes made for the UK
