Welcome back everyone! Today we will show you how to install fog light kit on a 2010 - 2011 Toyota Prius [Step by Step Installation]. This kit comes complete with wires, harness, bulbs and switch. Direct fitment for updating a broken or worn OEM component on your car. The fog lights are compatible for 2010-2011 Toyota Prius. This Fog Lamp works for both driver and passenger sides.

Odd how you just posted this right when I was in the market to buy and install foglights on my prius too,Lol! Does the kit come with some kind of wiring diagram? If not where did you get the info of where to plug what to what and to what I should be tapping into? Also why do you want to install those switchable lights from led to amber? Is that just cosmetic or does it allow better visibility in certain situations?

Yes. The kit does come with a wiring diagram. Yellow lights cuts through fog easier. Less reflection.

@@AutoSensation I see, was this your own prius or a customers? I also am in WA and initially thought of installing the foglights because I have alot of trouble seeing and driving at night especially with fog. Im hopeing the new foglights plus a headlight restoration will help with the issue and now that you mentioned that about the switchable beams I may just try that? Will you be making a video of that too or is it just a simple bulb change for that?

Thanks for the vid. Got my lights installed but blown a 10amp fuse i got a spare 15 amp but there impossible to get out with out the fuse puller

what is the "Male" Plug? on my one it has the positive, ground and position wire. What is the position wire?

Hi man, thanks for the video. Do you unplug the 12v battery first before this procedure? If you do or you don't, may you please explain why? I heard that when you unplug a 12v battery in a hybrid, the system will be resetted-that could lead to decrease fuel consumption. Thanks mate and all the best!

@~W.W.W~ disconnect anyway. U dont want to take a risk and turn the car back on and hv codes. The bumper harness is what i mean.

Might want to disconnect negative battery terminal too beforehand cause their a harness connected to bumper that needs to be unplugged. JS

Man nice job but you must work for Toyota cause that's alot of work for putting fog lights on. Maybe I'll just replace my low beams to HID's? Any suggestions

I already have the fog lamps installed. Just need to change one blown bulb. Do I still need to remove the entire bumper cover like you did for a new lamp install?

No. Below the fog lamps. There is a clip and one screw to remove. Then you can just pull down on the liner and have access to the bulb.

Might help to jack up prius in the front too. But then again the bumper is so easy to remove compared to that stupid wiper cowl.

Hey I got a fog light kit for my 2015 Amber ones to go into the grill like the jdm spec ones and it comes with no diagram I have 2 thick wires one positive and one ground around where the fuse box is and one small thin positive near the switch I am struggling to find a safe place to wire them in any advice?
