Кроме как через виски > стим можно ставить игры на сономе? Я почему-то думал что gptk просто позволит ставить старьё всякое с торрентов. Сейчас отдельно от Стима у меня не получилось игры для винды поставить, виски просто открывает и закрывает экзешник.

⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠@@AAA47you have to look it up on the apple developer website. you enter with you apple id, then you go to account, to tools and resources, software downloads and click in view downloads. once there you can click on downloads so a menu pops up and you click more. now you will be able to find it by searching for game porting toolkit :)

You can run stand alone games as long as your Mac meets the system requirements. You can also add games nonsteam games to your steam library and play them directly through there

As everyone has mentioned, THANK YOU SO MUCH! I'm a super newb and I just have a question, so it's a few months after this video, I have an M3 Max which should run ff7 remake pretty good and all, I'm just CURIOUS, since the Apple logo was there next to the windows logo to download Steam, why don't we just download the Mac version? Is it like a handicapped version that doesn't allow us some of the games or something? Hope to hear from you, thanks man!

Most games don't support Mac, so this process makes the game have the compatibility of Windows. If the game you want to run supports mac, just use that instead.

@@ewanmcdonagh2827 thanks! Yup, I’m playing FF7 Remake now on 120fps and max settings, running absolutely flawless! It’s barely even warm and haven’t had the fans turn on once even since I’ve got it. I also play Genshin on max setting via PlayCover and it’s the same. This laptop is a beast. Surely overpriced but I’m satisfied!

Almost no game is running. If I manage to run one (e.g. LEGO Harry Potter 5-7 or LEGO Hobbit), the game runs at 20 fps (no matter the quality of the image and textures), the sound is choppy. I run games on a Macbook Pro 16" (2021, M1 PRO, 16 core gpu, 10 core cpu, 16 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD). I use macOS Sonoma. Everything runs fine through Parallels.

Все сделал по инструкции все работает, скачал CS2 она легко запустилась, НО у меня там 3-5 fps при этом чип m1 pro хапха. Я подумал неужели такая тяжелая, заглянул в настройки графики, а там рекомендованное значение графики стоит на самых высоких.

При этом поставив на минимальные настройки графики по всем параметрам fps выросло до 10-13. и вот думаю шо тут не так. Может под whisky нужно выделяет место cpu gpu? или оперативы
