This video is a full tutorial how to install miui 13 on redmi note 7.
MIUI 13 is out for a while, but older Xiaomi devices will not receive the update for the new MIUI 13 firmware. So in this video, we are going to install through TWRP advanced Recovery Image, the most advanced MIUI 13 as you can get for Redmi Note 7 phones, Global MIUI 13 Android 12.

Vengo de hacer esta instalación y todo salió bien pero... tuve unos problemas en todo el proceso. 1 después de desbloquear el bootloader, e instalar el TWRP un par de veces seguia sin entrar al TWRP hasta que entre sin reiniciar sino dándole botón de volumen arriba y el de encendido desde la pantalla de fastboot y ahí sí abrió 2 el twrp pedía contraseña y pues según consulte, por la contraseña que trae el cell pero ya yo había borrado todo y seguía saliendo entonces lo que hice fue darle a format data y se arregló pude seguir con la instalación normal. Y bueno solo fue eso solamente espero esto le sirva a alguien Llevo menos de un día utilizando esto así que no puedo decir que está mal o bien, pero lo único que me he encontrado es que cuando abres el centro de control se traba un poco y no deja instalar algunas app de la playstore como Netflix no me he encontrado ninguna otra pero tal vez hayan más. De resto puedo decir que todo está perfecto. Si me encuentro con algo más edito el mensaje

ya lo hice, al abrir el twrp me pidió una contraseña para desencriptar datos, lo ignoré y di cancelar, y seguí con el procedimiento. Se istaló perfecto, y hasta ahora funciona súper bien, ya veré con el tiempo. Gracias

I already flash the twrp.img and it had been said finished but the problem is, when im doing vol.up + power it just going back to the home screen (like when you are just turning on your device) I tried also going to the miui updater > more settings > go to recovery mode but the recovery mode still the same.

It's SO annoying 😱 To load the phone into TWRP mode Firstly press on the volume up button when the volume button pressed hard, only then press on the power button. Hi. Sorry for asking this after a long time. I am stuck at the backup stage at TWRP. After checking on Data, System Image, Boot, I swipe to backup. It failed to backup and says "Can not create '/data/media/0/TWRP' ". Is there any way to solve this issue ? I disabled my pattern screen lock and retried but it still failed to backup.

Uff muchas gracias, ya habia intentado hacerlo pero ocurrio un fallo, por casualidad me animé nuevamente a intentarlo y por mera casualidad encontré este tutorial. Lo unico malo es el link de la rom, por google drive no se puede descargar asi que lo bsque por otro lado, segui el procedimiento y me funcionó de maravilla.

The problem is I had pixel experience 12 plus rom on redmi note 7 pro with pixel recovery installed. Now I changed to twrp recovery but when I flash miui 13 global rom, it asks for some random account password. I cannot bypass it!

@@pierosfregola618 en la parte del adb para desbloquear tenes que usar el comando "erase userdata" que te borra todo luego el format data y wipes desde twrp, el comando en adb es "fastboot erase userdata" despues instalas el recovery y cuando entras haces lo otro

@MEGA thank you so much for the kind words, It means a lot!!! if you want other ROM , then you need to find which will serve your needs best. Then when you find the perfect ROM you need to do the following: 1. Unlock Your Device 2. Install TWRP or any other custom recovery Image (that is suitable for your device, every Redmi Note 7 version have there own suited Recovery Images Version ) 3. Download ROM File Its extremely important to make sure the ROM is build specially for the the model of your phone because redmi note 7 , redmi not 7s and redmi note 7 pro have some differences in their hardware and if you download ROM that is not customer to your phone , it can actually damage your phone, or make it unusable. Let me know if you have more questions :)

Certifique-se de que o arquivo TWRP.IMG esteja escrito como TWRP.IMG sem espaços ou outros caracteres e, quando tiver certeza de que o arquivo está no lugar e o nome do arquivo está escrito corretamente, execute o CMD na barra de endereços. @Vu Tran Its asking for the encryption password. The default password is "default_password" (without the quotes) try that. And if doesn't work then enter Bootloader (fastboot mode) and enter the following commands into CMD. Code: fastboot format userdata Code: fastboot format cache Code: fastboot reboot This will unencrypt your phone and you'll be able to boot/enter TWRP normally. Please do note that you'll lose ALL of your data from the commands. Also, I'm not sure about this but you also might need to flash TWRP again. forum.xda-developers.com/t/twrp-asking-for-password-please-help-ive-never-set-a-password.3567525/

It is not a safe ROM, it does not pass the SafetyNet test. Remember that there are many custom and rooted roms that do pass that system integrity test. I'm so sorry to as hear this, I feel your pain. This ROM is costumed For Redmi Note 7 (lavender) so I believe the installation process failed due to the hardware differences. But let's check out what we can do. When you say your phone is dead, do you mean, he is not turning on. Or your phone constantly rebooting ?

Thank you for the interesting question. I'm not a developer, so I don't know all the technical details of the ROM. But from research I did, the Magisk app enables all sorts of modifications on your Android phone and extends the phone's functionality. Since Xiaomi didn't develop officially MIUI 13 for Redmi Note 7 devices. Developers found a walkaround to adjust MIUI 13for Redmi Note 7 devices, So I'm assuming that Magisk has an important role in this ROM. For this reason, after the deletion of Magisk, I'm not sure if the ROM will continue to work stably on your device in the long run. I didn't experience any issues with my applications; even my banking app worked perfectly fine. So If I had the issue you described, I would reinstall the official ROM of MIUI 12.5 and test these apps. If these apps work well with the official ROM, maybe the customed MIUI 13 is not the right ROM for you. I wish you a wonderful day!

disculpa, tengo un problema, descargo tus archivos de Drive, se descargan 9 ficheros en una carpeta (2 carpetas y 7 documentos), para flashearlo debo convertirlo en .zip, lo hago o eso creo, pero al rato de flashearlo sale error en el recovery,: "formato de archivo no compatible" y entonces no continua con el proceso. seria mucha molestia que subas el archivo ya comprimido y funcional a mediafire, mega o algun otro servidor, puesto que entiendo que a drive no puedes subir un zip tan pesado. si pudieras ayudarme con eso seria de mucha ayuda. necesito actualizar mi redmi note 7 a Android 11 minimo

I checked it and the link is available, people use it and download the file. I also tried it out and succeeded to download it even on my phone. So I recommend checking if the network on your end is stable , maybe you should try downloading the file while connected to network with a cable .

@Oscar Arrieta That is interesting, i didn't experience this kind of issue, its seems the phone doesn't respond well to the ROM. This ROM is suites only Redmi Note 7 (Lavender), if this your have other model then i dont recommend you use this ROM. But if you have Redmi note 7 (Lavender) and you have this issue then i recommend reinstall this ROM.

Descarga la ROM oficial 12.5 new.c.mi.com/global/miuidownload/detail/device/1700360 Cópielo en su tarjeta SD y repita el proceso de instalación como se muestra en este video. The ROM works great, except for two things : - When I tried to update Magisk from the app I ended up getting a bootloop. - Today I had an issue with Opera and Firefox crashing as soon as I tried to start them. After rebooting the phone everything went back to normal. Thanks for the tutorial Edit : Also the default camera app is buggy and I can't figure out how to install gcam (I get an error message when I try to install it from apk file. Maybe I should flash a zip through TWRP instead ?)

As for the performance it works pretty much as miui 12.5 not better and not worst then that. The issue I had is that camera crashed all the time.

Thank you for sharing this issue, on case you don't have micro SD I recommend purchasing USB with type-c connector where you can store the data. You need some external storage that will keep all the installation files you will need during the process.

You can backup your files to Google cloud or copy important files to your computer. Connect your phone to your computer, then allow files transfer, and copy all the important information from the internal storage of your phone to your pc.

i'm usin miui.eu 22.7.13 the most stable that i ever used... cam all works very nice... except por contacts, there's some bug on zap that my status do not appear, contats gone and back in time... perhaps can be anythin with where i save them ( chip, email, etecetera... )
