We have used IKO Cambridge Express laminated roof shingles on many of our Connecticut roofing jobs. One of the best architectural shingles on the market. Some of my colleagues from other roofing companies in CT also use IKO and have all said they had excellent results with their customers loving the look of the high profile asphalt shingle and shadow lines...

@ventureelect Indeed @ventureelect, with Cambridge Xpress or Cambridge Xtreme 9.5° you actually can lay shingles over the existing shingles, IF the underdeck is still in good condition. New roof shingles over existing roof shingles? Before starting off any project, first check out whether the existing roof shingle layer could remain in place or has to be removed. Depending on local building codes at least three layers of roof shingles can be applied before stripping off the roof shingles is necessary. We still work with feet and inches here in Canada; why make a pretense of speaking metric?

why wouldn't you remove the old shingles. this makes no sense.
