Does putting the aftermarket cats make the check engine light show up? How was the performance compared to stock cats is there a difference

I saw some guy with the heat wrap on their test pipe but your isn’t . Do we need to wrap it with heat wrap or ceramic coating , thanks u

Do you have to go under to take the other bolts out before going for the demon bolts? Or can I go straight for the demon bolts?

You can go straight for the demon bolts. I usually do those first since their harder just to get them out of the way

The two bolts u left on are they the demon bolts? So u just took out the socket?

No those are not the deamon bolts haha, I replaced those. I took out the nuts because they were actually studs, and I didn't want to chance breaking those studs. Since the threads were still ok I just left then and used new nuts

I have a Z myself and bought test pipes planning to do it myself but im sure it would make the job be alot harder than you think if you tried do it in your driveway lol, what was the cost for you guys to get it done??

Yes haha might be a bit harder on jack stands but my advice is to invest in some 6 ton jack stands from harbor freight. Maybe you don't need 6 tons on them, but they are twice the height of a 3 ton stand meaning you get way more room to work under the car, especially if you have a jack that goes up 18 inches or more. Also cost wise, assuming you have all the tools you need, it'll cost you whatever the test pipes are! And trust me, it's worth it :)

@@sparco023 yes check engine light came on Newer Z models are most sensitive to the cats being removed even having extended 02 bungs even with a j bend soldered onto the test pipes Tune required to get rid of CEL
