Make sure to have the virtual adapter set to NAT or Bridged mode to have Internet connection. You can also try switching between adapters like so in this screenshot in the top right corner: imgur.com/a/c3VDfkX

Unfortunately I've never owned a Mac before so I don't know but the process should be very similar. There should be tutorials here on KZfaq on how to do so
