How To Install Laminate Flooring For Beginners

In this video, I am showing how to install KRONOTEX Laminate Flooring. It was my first time installing this Laminate and I found it very easy to work with.
The underlay that I used to Install this Laminate Flooring is called Timberlay 3mm Silver, Easy-Fit with In-Built damp proof membrane.
To finish this job we used white scotia beading around and self adhesive T-section door bar.
► Dimensions of this Laminate are: 1845x188x12mm
AC5 Made in Germany.

man I'm happy I watched this lol I've just done my daughters bedroom and after I finished I saw the little gaps/seams running parallel with the laminate flooring and I thought I had fcked it up but now I watch this and yours does too so yea I've done it right lol

I could not pick it up from the video, but did you leave 1-1.5 cm spacing from the walls to the laminate for expansion and contraction due to temperature and humidity changes?

dumb question but is the foam necessary ? im working on my kitchen floor as well. I was going to sand and buffer first before putting the vinyl

Only if the manufacturer suggests or requires it. The foam barrier is to add a little softness to the floor but also keeps moisture out.

Pro tip: Notice where he makes the cuts at the door jam. Make cuts just right and you won't have to make the two little jib-cuts on the edges of reducer.
