I love this! I have a 22’ kx250x I would love to have the same setup or at least just the light bar. How is it mounted or connected to the handle bars?

I used the metal that come with the lights and bent them to fit into a couple bolts/screws on my handlebars!

Thanks! & I’m pretty sure they came included in the packaging with the light bar ! I had to bend them certain ways to get them to work but it’s solid not going anywhere.

Hard to tell.. are you tapping into the orange and black/white wires?

No it will die if you do that, there’s a connector right after the orange, and black and white wire . That’s where you tap in at

Yes I believe so because newer bikes have fuel injection so they use a capacitor

Where did you connect the wires from the brake light ?

They go to a hydraulic switch on either the back brake or front your choice.

Is this bike fuel injected? I thought I saw you reach for a choke and my bike has a carb

Yes it’s fuel injected and it does have a choke

You need a rectifier for the lights to work decently on the older bike.

Mine worked fine never had issues no dimming or flickering and it was the stock stator

Does your brake light just stay on or does it get brighter when you brake with hand or foot?

No sir probably will have to get a bigger stator for his , have it on a battery right now for him .

@@450_mick8 Couod you recommended a battery for doing something like this? I have a yx 140 on my pit wanting to put lights, I’m hoping to find a way to do it off the stator w/ a battery and just have the stator maintain the bat. Do you think that’s possible?

Stator probably isn’t strong enough to support a light on a pit bike but you can grab a small battery at any local hardware store or parts store for prob 50-60 bucks and it will do fine .. just have to charge it every now and then .

Hey I have a Kx 450 and I'm trying to do the same thing I'm putting it between that capacitor and the clip and my bike keeps dying but I'm grounding it out to the frame are you supposed to ground it out on that wire because I just ran the hot off the orange

When mine was doing that I just had the wires backwards , you have to splice into the wires right pass the clip sounds like your splicing into the wrong spot , your ground should be one of the wires not on the frame just to keep things clean

@@450_mick8 thanks bro I installed on my rmz250, works well but tail light LED won’t stay on the plastic when I stick it on so u seem to have black plastic mounted on back fender and then the tail LED light, can u paste the link?
