Always put the bracket on carb first... so u can look down the bracket to see if it lines up with the O gasket built in if not then it can cause an air leak and run like crap

Hey did u have to order a new throttle cable? I ordered the same kit for my Colman ct200uxe and I haven’t installed it yet. Or can I by pass it with this carb? Also great video really helpful and well Shit my guy.

so the stock cable doesn’t have a bead on the end for it to hook into the slide on the carb, you could either get a soldering iron and some solder and put that on the end or get a new cable

Because I'm stuck I can put everything else on but stuck when it comes to throttle what do I do after I put carb and gas line on I just unhook old throttle and hook new one up to carb and it will work 🤔 ps I have 79 cc predator egine very simple

It won't break if RPM is limited. I wouldn't trust it 6K RPM and up. I use a small bracket bolted to the head to connect the spring to. Governor just pulls on it like it does with the stock carb. I'm running 5K RPM and under so it's not a concern.

Pulling hoses, taking nuts and bolts pretty much easy to figure out but the ONLY special part of the job you Did Not take time to explain...taking off and putting back the cable that controls the amount of gas put into the mix. The cable that is activated when you push on the gas pedal

Zip tie it to the frame and angle it down towards the ground, or you can connect it to a catch can and strap the can to the frame but it doesn’t matter either way.

Part 4:07 on my video there is a close up on the carb, there should be a brass nipple that you pith the fuel line around! And then hook it to you gas tank the same way!

Just leave it in their as long as you don't upgrade the valve springs the stock ones will float before it gets too high of rpm

@@Mattydaddy80 the throttle cable goes into the carb so the throttle linkage on the predator isn’t being used so u can just take that all off and the governor arm isn’t being pulled with all that linkage so the governor just didnt kick in my bike does like 60 with the mikuni and the governor is still inside the motor 🤷🏻

It'll all work perfectly on the bt200x or any Coleman mini bike . I juet installed a vm22 and adaptor on my rb200, basically identical.

You shouldn’t need another jet unless you are running a bigger engine or a different fuel line size.

Yeah throw a 110 jet in it if you have a different exhaust or else you'll run lean

@@Cal3b587 Others need to tune to their engine and environment. A 110 jet worked for you but may not work for others. My stock 196's with a header pipe and silencer ran best with a 120 main. My built 196 likes a 125 main jet.

if your building a go-kart or mini bike its really up to you the governor makes it so it cant go to max rpm rated for the engine so not you don't need to but its recommended to remove it and if you decide to I recommend upgrading the valve springs I put 22lb springs in my Honda gx 160 and it ran great I have since retired it but it ran amazingly

@@313madenell it should, the chikuni (if jetted right and no damage because it’s easily fragile) basically adds more fuel and air than the stock engine does

Put two nuts on the rods then you then you can just use a wrench on the first nut to unscrew it

Why in the world are you using a crescent wrench? lol Do you not have a ratchet and socket set? Fixed end wrenches or even a ratchet end wrench! Crescent wrenches should only be used as a last resort when nothing else is available! They will strip the heads off a nut in an eyeblink! The 2:46 mark for example...I don't even have one in my collection because they cause more harm than help! You're a rookie in this video I can tell by that alone! But we all have to start somewhere! I'm sure you've grown wiser by now!
