We'll walk you through exactly how to download and install a new tactic on FM2024 including which folder to install the tactic in and how to load the tactic in Football Manager 2024.
Windows Location: Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2024
Mac Location: Users/YOUR USERNAME/Library/Application Support/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2024
On Mac an easy way to find this is to Open "Finder" then “Go” at the top then “Go to Folder” then copy and paste the following:
~/Library/Application Support/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2024

Hello, i changed the tactic document to a photo document and i think thats why it cant be seen on fm 24. im on mac and doesnt know how to get a fmf type of document

Tactic folder dont pop up in game but in folders everythings there

I put the downloaded tactic in the right folder but it doesnt show up in game... If i make a folder it shows up so it is in the right folder. Tried it with multiple tactics and none show up in game. If i put it in the folder and try to load it nothing happens aswell

What file extension does the tactic have? Is it definitely for FM24? Tactics don't work across saves.

the tactics i downloaded didnt show up, so i saved a random tactic and it didnt show in the tactic folder. how do i fix that?

The tactic you've saved in game must've gone somewhere? Save it with a really obvious name and then search for it in your folders. When you find it, that should be the folder you download new tactics into.

Hello. I play FM24 on PC with xbox gamepass. So this is the console version. Unfortunately, I don't know how to install the tactics. Request for help

I don’t think there is a way to download tactics for FM Console - you’ll have to manually replicate from the screenshots unfortunately.

Quick check that it’s the right folder is to save a new tactic in game and see where it saves the file to.

You don’t need to extract fmf files - the fmf file is the one you need to put in the tactics folder.
