How to Install Samsung TV Plus | Live Free Smart TV App | Scan Channel - Watch, Use Lock & Delete

This video shows how to install Samsung TV Plus App on Samsung smart TV. This app is Free TV streaming service / Live TV with over 100 “channels” of content to watch. You can install the app on Samsung’s televisions that were made / manufactured in 2016 and above. This video shows how to Scan Channel. and Navigate. You can Use Lock and Delete functions for individual channels.
The demo is done using Samsung 50” AU7100 UHD 4K HDR Smart TV (2021).
Samsung TV Plus is currently available in 23 countries: Austria, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, India, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, United Kingdom, and the United States.

Hi Taberk, You can perform auto tuning once in a while to check if any channels been added by Samsung to the app.

Wow, I'm having same issue. I had an internet outgage and had to reset the router and thought that was the problem, but now see many persons have the same difficult.

Hey, Looks like there is some update in progress from Samsung and the app should be up and running again soon. If this doesn’t happen then pls try reinstalling from auto tuning option.

Hi, I just bought this tv and apps like hbo and hulu are not available app store. Tv box display them so I undersrand it would have them. Any suggestion, or settigs to do. Thanks in advance

Hey David, sorry to know some apps aren't available. As I know some of the apps are region specific and it works if you manage to change region settings on your tv.

Hi Yung, I haven't yet made a video on changing country setup for Samsung TV but you should be able to get videos on KZfaq from other channels.

Hey, Can you please update TV software and try auto tuning again. Please note Samsung TV Plus is only supported on Samsung TVs that were manufactured from 2016 onwards.

Hi Himanshu, The current list of free channels on Samsung TV Plus app includes 9XM, 9X Jalwa, Qwest TV Jazz & Beyond, Qwest TV Classical, and Qwest TV Mix, The Q, Insight TV, Fuel TV, Wonder, among others. Republic TV and Republic Bharat are the only two news channels supported currently.

Hi Bharti, Can you please disconnect DTH connections and try following the video instructions. Keep the TV connected to WiFi. Pls let me know if this works.

Hi Manik, Can you please logout and login again Samsung account in your TV. Update TV software to latest version and try scanning again. Hope this helps. Hi Gaurav, Yes, Samsung TV Plus is only available on 2016 - 2022 Samsung Smart TVs and projectors in selected territories and an internet connection is required. Pls note you can install Samsung TV Plus on your mobile from google play store.

Samsung my whole thing went off earlier I got it back on but the Samsung usually in the right place everything had to be reset which is weird because nothing came unplugged or anything and my broadcasting part won't come up at all and the auto-tuning part wouldn't come up. Because I haven't done that in a long time

The present list includes the United States, Canada, Germany, United Kingdom, Austria, France, Switzerland, Spain, Thailand, Italy, South Korea, Denmark, Brazil, Belgium, Australia, Finland, India, Mexico, Norway, Netherlands, Portugal, Luxembourg, and Sweden.

Hi Pankaj, If your TV is manufactured before 2016 then these is a possibility that this options is not available. The other way is updating TV software and try to scan channels.

Hi Bharath, Sometimes after re-installing this app, restarting the TV can help recover the app to the smart menu. Please try this option also. Since this is an internet based app, check internet settings and try reconnecting internet. I guess some combination should work to install this app if you are in designated region. Samsung TV Plus is currently available in 23 countries: Austria, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, India, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, United Kingdom, and the United States.
