How to install Security Door in details and things need to be considered.

Make sure the security door is center the front door the right way before drilling holes in the wall. I bought another set of screws instead of the screws came with the security door.

The supplied screws for the security door are for security. Using those other screws would be just fine for install purposes but I would tack weld them to the frame or throw JB weld into the bit hole after install, and i would go ahead and put the security screws provided in for good measure. This door is not really all that secure as all it takes is a simple crow bar to wedge it open but it does add a modicum of extra security. To make it truly secure the frame should be a solid welded one piece and the screws should be tack welded after install. There are better higher level security doors available and if security is your main concern I would look into those, but if all you want is just a simple way to talk to strangers at your door and have something in between you and them this is ok.

The screws are reversible not just for the owner, but for intruders too lol

Why did you need to drill holes on the bar? Couldn’t you use the existing hole
