Just leave the brackets loose during whole install, then tighten everything the rest of the way at the end while making sure everything is level. Glad you found it helpful!

sheddski we had no problem with the mud guards at all. Probably because of the style, they taper in earlier than some other styles. We did recently install a lift kit and the 33” tires didn’t work with the mud guards in the front so they had to come off.

I found out those don’t fit Tacoma with mudguards

Not really, but it’s a good practice.

I immediately thought the same thing especially at the price.
