How do you know so much about ceiling fans? I have a Hunter ceiling fan, do you have any videos for other fans

There are about 120 other fan videos on my channel. I have worked with ceiling fans for almost 15 years. This channel focuses on Hampton Bay and Home Decorators Collection ceiling fans. We don't really deal with Hunter products.

Not the 152 sad. Would've hoped they used a bigger motor for the wide blades

It's actually a 153 and it does a good job for what it is. Are there fans out there that perform somewhat better? Sure, but not at this price point. Nice balance of tropical design and performance.

@@ceilingfans101 I just feel the blades would bog down the motor a lot. They should've used a 188. The Lillycrest is the same style and has a 188

@@GabesFans The Lillycrest and Lillycrest II both have a 172 motor and only offer about 500 more CFM (give or take a few CFM). At the end of the day, the fan looks nice and performs well. Definitely comparable. The blades for the Lillycrest fans are a bit bigger than this one.

Hey I see my red wire. How? Red wire to ?? I have Red, white, black and green wires. Help me.!!! Please.

We are not licensed electricians and if you are unsure about the wiring, we suggest calling a licensed electrician to ensure that the fan is wired correctly. That being said, a red wire is typically a switch wire. If that is the case, you can use the house red instead of the house black wire. This would allow you to turn the fan on/off with a switch. Connect the fan’s black and blue wires to the house red and cap off the house black wire.
