Thanks for the demonstration. What are your thoughts on lightly sanding the emblems for the adhesive to have more rough surface to adhere to? The idea is similar to roughing up a tire tube at a puncture site before applying the patch.

Sanding would create more surface area and a better bond for the adhesive. However, I have been running these emblems without issues for a while. Sanding isn't necessary in my opinion and it ruins the factory emblem underneath.

Mine are starting to lift on the sr5 and 4runner emblems, any advice on how to get them to lady back down?

The adhesive is temperature sensitive. I would try using a heat gun or hairdryer to heat up the emblem. Once it's hot, the adhesive should get tacky again. Hold the emblem in place until it cools off. Hope this helps!

Will a hairdryer work to heat up the emblem? Also, do you heat up the overlay or the emblem on the vehicle or both.

Yup a hair would also work. I like to heat the emblems on the vehicle instead of the overlays. I havent had any issues with the emblems since installation.

@@4x4trails Last question. How long do you heat up the emblems? How hot do they need to be?

@tazman7689 just hot to the touch. I didnt record the temp but somewhere between 100-120 degrees is good
