Can I install the U6-Pro on the already existing mounts of UAP-AC-PRO? If not, is there any Wifi6 compatible transmitter that can use these mounts? Would be great to clarify mount backwards compatibility in the installation instructions.

Funny that you had a pan underneath the tile but you blew the debris away onto the carpet instead of tilting the tile to the pan for the debris to fall. I know, it's a small thing but thought that was funny

I've found that a 1/4'' drill bit works great for unterminated plenum cat6.

Great video. Next time you should drill from the visibile side or hold plywood against drilling exit hole, to prevent break out of drill hole ;-)

So how do I install this into a NORMAL, home ceiling?! Why am I looking at an office ceiling and not one video for a regular ceiling? Do I just any of the provided screws into the ceiling and it’ll hold?

I've never had such as straight forward installation, I don't know if its the CAT6 cable that always refuses to bend to allow the AP to latch on to the metal plate but its never this simple for me. Anyone know how this can be made simpler, oh and I'm referring to mounting the AP on the ceiling...

I have bought a Udm wall by spending some 1200 bucks. Also 2 unify accespoint 6e enterprise version one unify express, after a massive wifi hacking by some unknown remote actions. originally the ISP gave their own modem (Speedprt pro with hybrid option from telekom). But then I want to use only Udm wall as main modem and router. I plugged in the DSL cable to Udm wall, but nothing is being recognised...I am not a professional, but I really want this to work and have a secure connection.pleae help..where am I doing wrong..I want to give up the ISP modem

This might work well if you have drop ceiling, but in most homes you would still need to make sure that if the cable comes from the ceiling, you would have to insulate around the cable, so there isn't a cold draft. So you would install a cable box as if it was a electrical wirering.

Imagine posting a youtube video that only concentrates on drop ceilings, knowing that most people viewing the video are mounting it in their homes with drywall ceilings. No company would be that clueless, would they? If you are going into drywall, use the metal backplate to identify which holes to use. Drill each hole 3/8" then re-drill to 1/2" so you can use 3/16" toggle bolts. You probably don't need to use all 5, you could just do 2 or 3 spaced around the perimeter. Each toggle bolt is rated to 238lbs on 1/2" thick drywall, so again, just 2 or 3 should be overkill enough to be safe. No box, no blocking. Google "Toggler 3/16" toggle bolts"
