This is my first KZfaq video, so this whole video taping/how to instructional process is very new to me... hopefully I will be improving on the quality of the videos and instructions as I learn this new process. Anyways, hope this helps anyone installing Vortex Clip-Ons and I apologize for not recording the ENTIRE process step by step.

anyone watching this your best way to take grips off is to blow air from an air comp. under grip and pull they slide right off and when installing just pour alcohol in the grip slide on kinda quick and they will dry in couple hours or use air to install

No problem! The fork diameter is 50mm for the 2005 Yamaha R6 (inverted forks). Thanks for watching.

I also have a 2005 Yamaha r6. I’m gonna get some clip ons but not from Vortex. Should I still get 50mm?

Hey there, how did you end up mounting the brake fluid reservoir in the end ? I'm looking for clip ons for my 2003

I ended up simply cutting that attachment that holds the reservoir to the bars so it can have a similar mount style, but have more freedom to move around. If you go to 7:12 I have a before and after! There's also the possibility of using an aftermarket (smaller) reservoir and mounting it below/on your forks underneath the triple tree.

@@TS-pl4ep Right, thanks ! I guess the hose that goes from the master cyl to the reservoir is longer on yours than it is on mine. I'll fiddle around with it.

@@dedelabinouze5110 I eventually ended up going to the SicShop and buying their reservoir, fork mount, and 1 foot of their tygon tubing so I had so much more room to experiment with the positioning of the bars.
