You are unnecessarily multiplying thermal bridges: to me, it is highly counter productive.

The aluminum I find far better than any wood product for many reasons and the 2 layers of Sylicon creates enough to not allow a large amount of cold through. Most of these vans stay in warm climates so not much issue. Cheers.

@@dadzvanz936 Well, I live in Canada and thermal bridges are of a concern, even during the summer.
