I was a speculator in Tesla in 2020, thank goodness for that & he’s right . Don’t fell in love with the stocks, make sure to sell some for profit. It’s not the Company at times but the macroeconomic.

I was about to invest into a company that was based in China. Due to research, I've found out that there was going to be a lawsuit and the firm that was suing it was claiming that the business failed to make themselves transparent to investors. I managed to refrain myself from buying any shares.

For individual stocks I try to do a dollar cost averaging approach. Let's say I want 100 shares of Walmart. I may by 20 shares, then wait a couple days, if it is up I may buy 10,if it is down I may buy 20 more. It is in my Roth so I don't have a lot of crazy reporting when I sell it. Does it help? It's a bad feeling to buy 100 shares and then watch it drop 5% in a week. Good Luck to everyone.

My dividend journey began when I realized that two particular expenses in my budget were always going to go up and never go down. The two expenses were taxes and insurance. I realized that the dramatic rise in both will need some added income. So, I started buying shares paying dividends. I can now see that this will be the path I need to take to make sure those two expenses will not overtake my future income.

January was a bullish month because people were in a tax loss harvesting stance and were afraid of missing out. The disinflation is transitory and earnings are deteriorating. The reason for the rally was sentiment not fundamentals.

Thank you for making this video. I'm low income and had no knowledge of this. Now, just 5:43 into the video I know how I could invest in stocks and make money. I could open a brokerage account, slowly add money until I had enough to buy a few stocks, pick a company that I know will do well, and just keep those stocks for the dividends, and use those dividends to buy more stocks, and keep doing that until I have a decent amount invested. Someone tell me if I am misunderstanding how it works.

It's a delicate season now, so you can do little or nothing on your own. Hence I will suggest you get yourself a Pro that can provide you with entry and exit points on the securities you focus on.

@@coreyhammons5972 I've shuffled through investment coaches and yes, they can be positively impactful to an individual's portfolio, but do your due diligence to find a coach with grit, one that withstood the 08' crash. For me, ''Lidia Joann Morris'' turned out to be better and smarter than all the advisors I ever worked with till date. I’ve never met anyone with as much conviction.

Im so glad i didnt really make any big mistakes when i started my investment journey last year. So far I’ve just been sticking small amounts of money (think 1-5 bucks) into companies im sure will continue to exist for the next 5 years and if the stocks do well, i hold on. If not, i reinvest the bad ones into the good ones so i can get higher gains. It’s not fool proof, but i did gain about $40 from putting in $20 into NVIDIA earlier this year so that was pretty nice.

Very good presentation. As a person who is big on saving for the future. I'm bombarded with the don't sit on it during the inflation crisis. I wanted to jump in 2/22 and did nothing. Whether a stock pays a dividend or reinvests that wealth to grow the price of the stock, it does not matter, they are just different methods of profiting the same income. Stocks only pay dividends if they feel they do not have positive investments to commit capital towards and therefore transfer it to investors.

In my taxable account I went the dividend investing route. In my roth I did the buy and hold route with an S&P 500 etf and a total market etf along with some Berkshire B stock and SCHD.
