Such a handy video for a newbie like me! It's taken me so long to openly embrace my Indian heritage (living out of India your whole life is hard), and I was so glad to find your channel to guide me when it comes to sarees. Would you consider doing a video on draping for short and skinny women? Neither my mother nor I can ever get the draping to be "perfect". My body type is unlike anybody else's in the family!

Hey Vithya, I’m following you in insta and today came to KZfaq to check for saree pleating and I found this useful video as I’m travelling to Chennai next week for a wedding with two Kanjipuram saree. Was just figuring out how I’m gonna deal with the saree as the wedding is in the morning. Now I can use your method to iron pleats and fold it into my luggage. Thank you darls. Thank u so much Vithya mam for such an insightful video.. I did try this technique a day before an event and it worked out well for me .. I saved my time which I spend doing the perfect pleats rushing to be on time for the occasion .. I wish to share those pics with you .. additionally inorder to secure the fold I kept a light cardboard and covered the saree with newspaper :)
