Thanks! I saved this. I’m always concerned jacking up the front from the pinch welds because I wasn’t comfortable trying to squeeze the jack stand in there on the same pinch weld. I knew about using the rear diff but I loved the variety of options you provided. Keep up the helpful vids for us that need more detailed instruction. Now I’ve gotta get these wheels swapped! Later!

You have no idea how many times I've come back to watch your videos, such as this one. Simple and straight to the point. Although, I'm not sure why it says I haven't subscribed to your channel. Which I thought I had? Either way, I'll subscribe again.. For context, we've owned Subaru vehicles since the late 80s/early 90s. Currently/still own our '20 STI (as well as a few others, such as my daily, a B9 Audi S4).

Great video, sometimes the obvious spots are questionable and this is good clarification. Plus, that jack is pretty legit, might have to pick that model up.

One thing many people overlook or don't even consider is the surface you're using the floor jack on. Make sure it's clear of debris and cracks. If the wheels on the jack are kept from rolling the jack can slip off your jacking point. I noticed you were very close to the concrete joint when you were jacking up the rear of the car, 2-3 more pumps and you might have slid the pad off the rear diff.

Nice video! Scoobyfreak86 also made one showcasing how he jacks the car from the side of the car using the section in the middle so that you can get one side of the car up easily. Would also love to see a video on recommended maintenance schedule for the car. Keep up the great work!

FYI - if anyone else is trying to install any aero like a lip or skirt on stock height, that pittsburg low profile jack barely clears it. (My skirt ended up making contact and bending slightly against the jack, but I was able to pull it out under the car without damaging it)

the scissor jack is for emergency use/situations only, like on the side of the road. DO NOT use it as your primary lifting jack; because it was never meant to be used in such a manner. Get a primary lifting jack to store in your house/garage.
