I luv your channel as well as William's one too. I always learn a lot from you too. This video was so beneficial, you killing the KZfaq game. No one is educating others like this and making it entertaining. PS I put together a good highlight video and Player CV and spent hours (sometimes a whole week) looking for the academy coaches contact details. I ended up getting them & sent an email showing my interest in joining their academy. I have had to do it this way since I'm in South Africa and not in the US. so I can't tryout. Did not think it would work but there is actually very big American clubs showing interest and asking questions about me.

You guys playing in American academies are lucky. Cause after Alphonso Davies, Tyler Adams , Pulisic , Josh Sargent, Weston M left the US and made it big, the US is on the radar for many big clubs as well as their academies

Thats what I like to here, going outside of the box and actually taking initiative to find emails and having a CV to send to them. Fantastic work! Unfortunately many players want other people to do that for them.

Great video bro! I guess scouting for top academies is completely different here in the UK than US. Like mentioned in the video you can be scouted by a top academy even at Sunday league. I was also scouted for Watford playing Sunday league U13s which was a surprise as I didn’t think you’d get that chance! I also was invited to Tottenham development centre, but didn’t get to the next stage as I lacked confidence as a kid. what’s it like in the US?

Well scouts are now going to high school games and local football matches as well. But they dont go to sunday leagues.

Don't bother joining a premier league academy, it's too hard. Join an EFL league 1 or league 2 academy, then you will get the opportunity to play championship and premier league academies, where you can get scouted.

Great video. My brother is 15 and is player with lads on the U18 team with our local club in Ireland. He finds it different the way the way he played over in Brazil to Ireland. For trials in clubs in UK, can you only take part if you’re invited?

@@airpods8534 Going overseas to pursue football is very hard. There are certain things you can try but it will cost you a lot of money, plus, unless you know you have the level to play overseas, I suggest staying out of it. First try and join those clubs in your city. Go on their website, find out how you can join, find out when they host open try outs. If you want to get scouted, YOU NEED TO BE PLAYING IN A CLUB! Join a football club, a good one. Tell me ur city, Ill help you find decent academies.

You can get loaned out. So technically yes. But it wouldn’t be your decision for the loan.

Develop a well coordinated body - strengthen your joints, and flexibilty, and so that when you push your body further you understand where problems may come up. Learn from olympic weightlifting videos/sport injury rehabilitators/prevention about Strengthening hips, ankles, back flexibility and strength, recovery, and set goals based on what you could improve. If you want to be really good you'll have to learn how to look after your body - beyond working out, until people start looking after it for you. For your body to perform at it's highest level, you have to take it close to its limits, but something will break if you're not prepared. Set big goals and small goals and you will get closer.

Try go highest leaves of non league because non league teams would beat high academy teams not technically but physically you let’s say arsenal see your technically as good as there players and you can play mens football at a good level. So you will be most likely a first choice for first team arsenal for example then other players. Academy football is a good way to get into when 15 . 17/18 go non league STAND OUT and you will be seen by big clubs in England including prem trust me it’s not impossible at all it happens more than ppl think.

Yes. Gedion Zelalem from Bethesda, MD and Danny Karbassiyoon from McLean, VA were both scouted in America and recruited to play for Arsenal. Zelalem played for the academy and first team before being traded -- he now plays in the MLS. Karbassiyoon played with the Invincibles until an injury ended his career.

@@yqmz959 You should go to a camp at least a year or two before you apply to college. Make rounds of different universities. Email the coaches ahead of time with your highlight tape so they know to look out for you at the camp. Camps last anywhere from three days to two weeks so you can attend at least ten camps before you apply your senior year. If you are really good with your time and have the money to spend you can reach up to thirty schools. Assuming you have some skills you will have heard back from at least one or two by the time you apply.
