Once a track is registered, what is expected to do with the work id? Should it be embedded into the metadata of the recording sound file? Is that necessary to go full loop and for BMI (or any other PRO) to collect the royalties? Thank you for a great video!

Super good tutorial! Quick question. What if I had co-produced a song with another producer which got placed on a album. how would I go about getting my percentage/share? I just got my BMI account set up today so I am able to register stuff I have co-produced. I did find the track on the BMI Repetoire. The producer who i co-produced with on the beat is on the writers/composers section as well as the Publishers section. On the step where it asks ''Are there any publishers on this work?'' I would click yes and then proceed to enter the other co producers details? if this is correct how would I know what the ownership % and collection % is? In the Repetoire for the track, I can see the percentage on that song as far as writers/composers and publishers section (controlled %) would that be it or?? Any help or advice would be appreciated! Thank you! PS: There are two other publishers on the BMI Repetoire so 3 in total including the person who coproduced the beat with me.

What if you get a placement with a rapper? And you are a music producer that collaborated with another producer using a loop or sample they made? How can we ensure that we both get paid? the royalties and Etc? I think this very important for me and many other producers who send out beats to artist with or without labels and they get recorded on/ or placements

I'm the writer to every song (100%) but I'm not the composer/Producer and I have multiple producers on my album. I have the unlimited and exclusive rights to every beat and I own 100% of writers share. How do I register multiple producers and their share of publishing? I applied and did not get a confirmation email. That was a month ago. I have been emailing and calling BMI and I cannot get ahold of anyone. If I get a human it is a phone operator that does not listen to me then just transfers me to a voicemail. So idk what to do now.
