Brass olives shouldn't be used on plastic pipes as they're stronger than copper so won't crimp. They have to be copper olives.

what about using a euro cone connection/adapter into a compression fitting as a method?

also plastic tube have markings down the side this is to help knowing its pushed all the way home if cut on the mark the fitting should reach the next mark also speedfit use 2 inserts plain mainly used for comp fittings and superseal for push fitting

It'd be nice if you showed the reality of coupling up existing soldered copper to plastic i.e. removing a soldered copper fitting in order to join a piece of PEX barrier pipe.

My plumber did the pressure compression coupling but now the joint between the copper and the plastic is leaking water.

9 times out of 10 your plumber omitted to add the pipe insert.

You can connect 15mm copper to 25mm plastic pipe by using a plason fitting and 15mm rubber on the that’s how we connected the pipe underground in 1990s

You forgot a method? It's always just compression fitting or a push fit. Unless you mean those glue-on-to-plastic adapters that have pushfit/compression ends. Those I find are exotic.

I’ve tried that as a test just to see and it works a treat. Copper press fitting onto hep pipe with the stainless insert. Pumped up to 10 bar.
