How To Jump A Supercross Triple

Are you ready to hit your first Supercross triple but not quite sure how?
1. Make sure you have your bike in 2nd gear.
2. Take your time in the corner to set you bike up nice and straight.
3. Carry your momentum into the jump and accelerate all the way up the take off.
Remember it is always better to over jump a triple than to come up short.

Id say gear selection could vary depending on the bike. Hitting the jump is pretty straight forward. Accelerate through the jump. Its common knowledge if you have ever been on a track. 😂

⁠@@Familytube90sorry but if you preload or speed scrub a jump or roller before it’s pretty easy, plus 3rd gear has a lot of torque down low. I hit it on my 250 in third at my training facility. Sorry you can’t carry the same amount of speed as an advanced rider.

The KLX is not set up to jump big jumps like this. If you want to hit smaller table tops you should be in 3rd or 4th depending on the size of the jump 👍🏻

Most all supercross triples are the same if you look they are in the professionals they the same every time. They set practice tracks up to mimic the real SX tracks.

On an outdoor track they can be different. On a pro supercross track they have a formula for each type of jump. Some rider have been known to combine different sections together to form jumps they didn’t plan on. Bubba often did this.
