The variegation of monstera isn't light dependent - it's purely genetic. However, giving them more light can enhance the colour of the variegation that is already present

Ahhh I see. I probably should have said, the white might fade more to green if it's kept in lower light conditions (and then like you say, become more enhanced when in higher light) 🤍💚
