🔴 In update 1.19 the pipe wrench can no longer fix a broken engine - however, the newly added blowtorch will 🔴 Humvees are added in 1.19. Engine requirements are a glowplug(not a spark plug) and a battery. No radiator. 🔴 Some cars are now automatic(R-N-D) including the humvees. 🔴 Jerrycans can fill both petrol and diesel cars as normal. You don't need specific ones.

I take 3 wheels with me when i log out, one in shirt, one in backpack and one in hands, the fourth i usually lock with tire iron on reserve wheel slot on my ada (people dont usually carry tire iron with them). Still have my beautifull blue ada 4x4 for two months and counting :)

Tip 10: it don't aply to gunter, it has front-wheel drive. If you accelerate with gunter you will get more traction and it will help you.

I wish you could repair ruined cars... spawned cars are a race to who gets it first and come with most parts already in them. I always collect rare parts like the radiator and spakr plugs only to never use them bc i cant find a single working car... 😔

Imagine if you could hammer the steel pieces you find around the map in sheds to your car windows to protect you from getting shot at like a helmet but for the car 🚗

Good tips. Cars are big for me and my friends. So obviously we gravitated towards vehicles. To add. We’ve found the only vehicle that is worth driving with out lag crashes leaving you on foot is the truck. All else will blow two tires and radiator on most lag crashes. Truck just takes it. Weak spot is the fuel tank. It gets destroyed and leaks fuel fast. Also you have to destroy vehicles for them to despawn and respawn. Yank radiator and floor it in N. Truck just floor it for 9 min in N. If no smoke shoot engine a few times. It’ll smoke. That’s when you know it’ll despawn

No idea if you already know, but the next 1.19 update is expected to finally fix cars, so hopefully no more space flights, large frame drops or just general crappery we've come to know.

Today we decided to try to find a hummer to fix up cus we found a glow plug. First spawn spot found one with everything needed except only 3 tires…but with a spare in the back and a badly damaged glow plug in the trunk. We are currently trying to find somewhere to hide it

Hello again, please can you tell me how to remove or disable a car HUD with a speedometer. I want to make a video, and this hood is bothering me. Your video shows that you solved this problem and somehow you hid the HUD on 1:17 . Maybe there is some way or mod that will help. I need your help, an internet search didn't lead to anything.

When you see the car start bouncing hit the break put it in neutral and shut it off

Also if the game becomes laggy while driving especially through towns or cities driving first person it will help with the rendering causing less lag

i parked a car in some bushes and it disapeared within like 20 mins when i came back. the engine was smoking and it was out of gas so idk i that has anything to do with it

I'm sure it's easier from controller maintaining a certain speed.. But for keyboard users, is there a button or a magical item I use to keep a straight 30kmph? Very informative video but could you provide the correct button inputs for the correlating action? Thanks for the tips though :)

It is an absolute nightmare trying to drive vehicles on PC even the steering is a nightmare it is so much easier on console

@@Dino2GunZ Yeah, I've realised that and even the "Heavy/Light on pedal" is very temperamental at best which is annoying but I barely drive anyway so doesn't make much difference lol

I had this happen with an M3S and it was gone for a week…then randomly came back and was on the roof of our warehouse base 😂

Oh yeah, having a car at all can be dodgy! I've had them disappear, reappear, appear half-way through buildings ha this is just one of the wonders of DayZ

With screwdriver and wrench you can lock down parts. I'm on PC.

Be careful driving in the forest. Watch out for stumps. My car got stuck high centered on stump. Took nearly an hour to free it.

My Tip - take a wheel with you. Batteries and spark plugs are small and easy to carry / find. People are generally not walking around with an entire wheel in their backpack!!

Pro tip set your console to 720p looks crappier yes but your Xbox isn't working as hard to produce more pixels for the TV saving your processing power that can be used for DayZ, it also increases frame rate don't believe me try it

Doesn't the Xbox have to work harder to downscale the image since the base resolution is higher - consoles don't necessarily work the same way PC does. Performance is fine as standard on series x I find anyway.

@@flaminx0r key word they're series X play old gen play a lag intensive game on 1080p vs 720p and you will see what I mean. A console is precisely a computer that is meant to play games they are all the same parts but programmed in different ways

@@thewolfpack8878 ahh, i didn't realise they were using an older gen. But, your not correct about modifying resolution affecting performance in the same way as it does with PC settings! Xbox always renders at the base resolution of the game, lowering output resolution will not increase performance on console.

It's more safety advice to stop the car flipping and jumping like mad. That isn't based on ping, it's based on bad luck haha

The server I'm on is pretty good. Low population. On the larger open roads I've cruised at 100+kmh on the straight aways without issues

Months ago the best tip for cars on console was just avoid them...death from some nonsense broken physics was almost guaranteed! This must be xbox footage unless PS fixed the blue screen issue and random lag spike that froze your screen while still driving into a tree 🤣😂 That and driving off the map side instantly killed you and deleted the car.

I was a mix of PC, PS and Xbox if I remember correctly but it was a while ago so I'm not 100% sure. But I always try to mix the three. Lag and cars though, yeah, and so many times you build a car, but end up with a plane xD

@@AlwaysStreams somehow I never got to fly or missed it due to the blue screen glitch. They were more broken then ladders that would drop you to your death randomly. At least it helped you learn to not hold your gear sacred and at respawn you know where to get survival gear and water like second nature 🤣

check at the roof, and park it next time very gently not touching any tent or other stuff

Basically what they said. Make sure it's far from any walls, not on any loot spawn locations and basically just cross your fingers. It's a bug they haven't yet fixed.

Your best bet is to never Park a vehicle indoors build a fenced in area next to the barn and park it there

Erm, it's hard to explain, but if one is ruined, another should respawn soon after, but not necessarily in the same place as the ruined one was found.

@@AlwaysStreams How can you ruin a vehicle on purpose to spawn a new one? Ive found 1 gunter with totaled wheels in the middle of nowhere and a m3s stuck in a steep slope between trees :) The truck was super good condition but someone decided to get it stuck.

@@eamh2002 You can shoot it(the engine) until the little green dog turns red. It'll respawn but it'll be a random place on the map and won't be immediately.

@@AlwaysStreams So the car I ruined by getting it stuck with a bad radiator that died and had a red check engine light will despawn? Good to know :) So far I've seen only 3 fixable cars in 35hours or so and ive been all around the map walked more than 160km. Someone must be hoarding vehicles :D

@@eamh2002 apparently if you throw a backpack at a stuck vehicle it will launch the car a few feet. I haven't tried it but I think it was in a video. Also, you need to get everything out of the trunk. If the car is ruined, it will still act as storage and will not despawn the car. I just tested this theory I had yesterday.

They usually have a little green dot on them when you approach, or you can press your inventory button and if it can be driven you'll get the full repair menu =]

each time i find a car the engine light starts blinking almost immediately. even though all the parts are in good condition. found 3 cars with good parts. as soon as i started driving the engine light came on. even though all parts are good and there is water in the radiator and gas in the fuel tank. what am i doing wrong? it pisses me off greatly. just killed a really geard guy in a car. car was fine. drove it for 100m then the light started comming on. and then the engine died on me. agian....

It's not really lag that's the main issue, it's the glitching, it doesnt matter what console you're on, the game is buggy af. Driving quickly is a sure way to lose lots of your players, sometimes never even finding their bodies again because they're slammed through the map

Not ever video will be for everyone, it's all good =] I play on my X when I'm on console but other than lag it increases the chances of flipping out and killing you by a lot. Sadly a bug they've yet to fixed - maybe this year eh ha

@@porkypines8650 honestly I’ve only died one time and lost my stuff that way and I was right next to my base and the only reason I died is because I hesitated to quit the game and the car did 90 into a tree and killed all three of us and then my body was stuck half alive and half not I had to go find a knife and cut it up to get the fucking car back

Just to let you know the more quicker you quit the game the more quicker the brakes lock up and the car starts freaking out and taking left and right turns and spazzing out like somebody else took the wheel

DUDE I have that big truck. And it had everything on it just needed gas.i spent 20 damn min filling It up with a water bottle on the coast as a geared ass player and after I filled it up got in it I got shot dead. Fuxker watched while I'll did all the work and killed me for it
