Have you ever questioned the loyalty of your relationship, your family, or your friend?
Have you ever wondered if your friend, partner, or even parent is jealous of you?
I know it may feel somewhat uncomfortable to consider this. I also know that this isn't something you may want to face but it could be true.
In this video, I review jealous individuals and some of the toxic behaviors common to people who hold malice and subliminal dislike of those they are jealous of. This video will start off our conversation about delusional behaviors which often entails toxic jealousy.
I welcome your comments, questions, and experiences.

Apparently. And so misguided. I could be living in Florida in a central ac home.... driving a Mercedes and going for joy rides in a Ferrari on the weekends. Jelous of what? Lmao.....their egos are so overinflated they don't even see me for who l am. How could they? They live inside their own heads. STUPIDITY has taken over folks. I am exhausted from being beaten with their narrow minded narcissistic stick however. I opt out of their insanity. I hereby conclude that money has made them even more idiotic.

I was abused by my family for most of my life. My father consistently put me down so that I would not succeed. There was no love and light, no connection, just abuse. When I left them, I found myself not knowing how to connect with others, but I wanted to learn. I was healing from abuse. I am now slowly starting to rebuild my life and noticing that these are people out there that feed off other people's insecurity or goodness to try and keep them from being happy, being connected to others, from shining. There is hatred in their eyes and it is scary how many people have destroyed my from achieving my goals out of bullying and hatred. I am trying to learn skills on how to deal with these evil people. Better late than never.

timestamps 1. you're disliked for no real reason (4:03) 2. they undermine you in any given opportunity (4:42) 3. they covet what you've got (5:36) 4. their vindictiveness & toxicity is suffocating (6:40) 5. they often fit the description of narcissism (7:13) 6. they are often forceful and impulsive (7:56) 7. they are destructive & sneaky (8:20) 8. they are unauthentic (8:34) as an empathetic person, i know it's fairly easy to understand a person's history or sob story as to why they are this way BUT sometimes a person is just plain evil. pls stay away from them socially & physically as much as you can

#1 is true, but what they'll usually do is justify it with some perceived slight, or for a manufactured reason. If you are a decent person, you might even search your history with that person and genuinely wonder if you unintentionally said or did something. My solution to this is: If they haven't made it clear why they don't like you, and you can't readily find an obvious reason....then fuck them, ignore them.

From my own female family members I suffered undue character assassination, also vicious intent to destroy my personality while they emulated my personality they were destroying in me . Their alienating me.bers of my social circle while they themselves entered my social circle, their emulating my hair style and clothing style and cosmetic application. My preferences in music and art. This is only the tip of the iceberg.

The face says it all when it comes to jealousy. Also compliments, I hate compliments even from my family. What makes jealousy so sinister is that they will be so sweet toward you with the fake smile and the kissy kissy thing and at the same time they will be grasping hold of a butches knife ready to plunge it in at the appropriate moment. My husband and I would have a flexible Monday off work and we would watch the B grade midday movies that were on TV. My husband who passed away about nine years ago loved Psychology and I love it too. Anyway we were watching this movie and most of these movies were of male and female stalkers who were full of jealousy or girlfriend or boyfriends who couldn’t move on after the breakup, or divorcées who were jealous of the new wife or husband or jealous friends , coworkers or strangers. My husband would say to me you know what the acting in these movies is bad however there is truth in these stories, people do these hideous things to one another, it is true. In my opinion and by what I have personally experienced growing up with five jealous sisters and two Narcissistic jealous parents that jealousy would have to be the most prominent trait in all of us. I don’t think people realise just how powerful this emotion is and there is nothing good about it, all murders are based on some kind of insecure jealousy. I don’t read my comments when people reply to mine even when my comments are lovely because of jealous people, jealousy is insecurity and if jealousy is not controlled it can have detrimental effects both mentally, emotionally on the victim and can lead to physical harm and murder. If you see the look of jealousy in peoples faces get the hell away from that person and cut all connections with them. Displays of jealousy are dangerous, that means that person has the potential to do anything to you , your family or property. I had to cut my entire family out because of out of control jealousy on their side, the type that will say I love you while plotting your murder. I had a lot of people that were jealous of me when I was a practicing Catholic at a particular parish church, one woman in the church office who is a deranged bunny boiler. Jealousy is the most ugliest look and the most sinister trait.

That's an interesting take. I can see the value in being mindful of this. I always tell my adolescent clients that when you hide what you really feel -- and everyone else can see it -- that tells me that you are in denial and therefore, not able to be trusted.

Another aspect of this dynamic: you’ll feel confused all the time. My friend coveted my life from day one, but I didn’t notice until she started imitating every big life decision I made, my university major, my hobbies, everything that made me ME. That changed a bit when I called her out and told her how uncomfortable it made me to share a goal and then have her come back and make it about how she was pursuing the same thing all of a sudden. When we’d interact it would be constantly hot and cold and riddled with passive aggressive, defensive reactions. I felt insanely confused and anxious during conversations because anything I said seemed to trigger a reactive response. She would make everything into a performance and a way to prove how great she was to me. I’m ashamed to admit I fell into it as well and let my own competitive side come out…but I firmly believe she initiated that dynamic first because I have seen her do it with other friends. It included contradicting and trying to argue with me about the smallest things. I felt this tense energy from her even during the most innocent topics of conversation. She was always working an angle to be smarter, wiser and more mature than me. To top it all off, she acted as though she was such a compassionate and selfless person, but let me tell you I have rarely met such a self involved, tactless person. For a period of time a few years back, I don’t think she asked me a SINGLE question, I’d just sit there while she went on about herself and interrupted me when I’d try to get a word in. She behaved in ways that completely went against the claim that she was a compassionate person. It was exhausting to feel so confused about what her actual feelings were.

I'm sorry Maureen. I've been there. I still see it at times in certain areas of my life. It's unhealthy behavior that is not your problem -- it's theirs. You don't have to compete with them to "create" a competition in their own mind around you. It's borderline psychotic to say the least. Some people create "narratives" around celebrities or other people in the public eye out of jealousy and they have never spoken to them once in their own life. So sad.

My sister in law is so hard to trust. She cut me out for 4 years for dating her brother. She was my best friend and I asked if it was okay. She seemed thrilled. Then she cut me off. I didn't understand why. I wasn't allowed to see my now husband's family for 4 years for holidays or anything at all because of her jealousy. She told people I wasn't good enough and that we were sinning for living together. She told me later that she was jealous but she still displays these signs now. It was a huge betrayal. I still see her because my husband wants to see her and it hurts. It still hurts so badly.

Thanks again for making this video. I would like to add on that unless you too have been jealous at some point in your life, you won't know the signs or what to look for. I've dealt with my own jealousy at different times when I was younger and it has helped me identify when someone is being jealous. This is specifically manifested with JEALOUS SIBLINGS.

Thank you Karen! Welcome to the channel. And you're welcome! I'm sorry you have to go through this with your therapist. You might want to consider clarifying where they are coming from (if it isn't 100% clear) and then once you receive some clarity or a response from your therapist, consider finding someone who gets it and trying treatment/psychotherapy with them. That can make a world of difference. Medication isn't going to cure the underlying dysfunctional pattern of behaviors. Possibly even inter-generational trauma.

@@TherapistTamaraHill so there's more to the story as time went on I realized that it was really my mother who was behind my 2-month day at the county psych UCI on their locked unit which was terribly scary she was attending my weekly meetings with my team and they had mixed up my name with another patient different birth same name different birthday different drivers license and it wasn't my current name although I had had the same name before but anyway this guy was a dual diagnosis and was on a bag full of medication and my mother being a psychiatric nurse was aware I had never been on this medication but she allowed them to you know keep me pretty medicated and in Chicago I'm sure she insisted that I was the problem well my dad's house but he was the problem anyhow it's amazing I'm going over my whole life now and realizing or trying to figure out where my mother's influence ended and decisions or things I did or didn't do what all me because I got sick in their house while I was going to school with both in their house and my dad didn't want to deal with it being you know 80 years old and he just kept telling me I whenever I would say something like gosh can't you guys feel it I can't breathing here this is killing me you know some days I weeks I'd be bedridden anyhow he would just tell me to die faster well hurry up and die then or die faster that's why I checked myself in because I really wanted to kill him and I just felt that if I didn't remove myself immediately from that situation one of us is going to get injured because after a year of hearing that every day I just snapped one day but my mom she perpetuated the wrong feeling than their lies and she was aware of it the whole time this program that I'm in is it also a dual diagnosis but I was placed here because of the level of care I needed I lost consciousness after receiving meds one day in the hospital stroke or a angina or something like this there was an interruption in the pattern I guess I had an MRI but the level of care I needed is why I was placed in that program and it's just obvious he's a lazy employees are they just don't even read my file they treat me as not somebody who had just graduated and had all this stuff happened to her but it treat me as if he died just as soon as I leave there and they're ignorant but they have their 15 years and so they're comfortable for now I was advised by the old bugsman office not to leave there until they relocate me because they I did receive housing through them but this place is talk to you as well there's no ventilation no sunlight and bacteria galore so I'm still not but I'm fighting the good fight and I'm learning a lot about myself and my family dynamic and I can almost see when my dad crossed over from being live one of her little flying monkeys to a sort of passive aggressive narcissist himself although she is you know very evil and she went from triangulating her own three kids to triangulating my knee with my three kids it's her insecurity and carelessness for others just knows no bounds for lies you know her hypocrisy no balance I guess I'm kind of fortunate that she was a psychiatric nurse and growing up the way I did I had to learn a lot about people though I never suspected this it hit me like a freight train but I have been able to maneuver my way through situations in life and understand and always see what part I play of course that's part of the narcissist thing but it's been helpful too I'm just trying to find the positives right now I spend so much time being depressed but I just she's not to be on medication right now I want to grieve and I want to feel the losses and just work my way through it as best I can and as much as I am able without any cooperation so somehow I always felt that was okay and I'm kind of trying to work my way back to that attitude I used to have as a child where I would just start speaking in the morning dialect and it was them not me and self protection again thank you and have a wonderful day I do oh and just I do plan on leaving this agency but they're refusing to move me even though they agreed to it so I'm seeking counsel because they're not for sure they're not protecting me which is what they're supposed to do because I have memory issues now and stuff like that they're just you know it's just a failure in the system so unfortunately me and my dog have to pay that price for a little while but it has to turn around it's been it's been down for so long I just keep telling myself I used to tell my kids that when things didn't go their way and then didn't go their way and they didn't go the way well you know now that it hasn't gone away for so long if you going to turn around oh dear thank you thank you people like you that keep me going thank you

Everything you said describes this “friend” I have. Is it normal to be in somewhat denial even though the description perfectly matches their actions/behaviors? This person is literally the only person that I call “friend” that is mentally exhausting for me to be around because of the traits mentioned by you.

I have an alternative way of dealing with them, turn up the heat! Thats right their weakness is jealousy so make them jealous. Don`t avoid them, interact with them. With all the conversations you have with them make sure there is a hidden catch - that being I am better than you. They will react badly to it, you need to reframe its effects on you, work yourself into a place in your mind where you can feed off it to feel great. What will happen after a few weeks is they will disappear fast. Thats right, they will cut you off!

Hi Tamara, Enza from Italy here! :) When you say that someone is holding back and give you just crumbs or someone seems checkered and give you... crumbs (crumbs again ;), why would they do that?? I can't see the connection between them being jealous of you and the holding back/crumbs thing? Both my brother and 2 friends of mine are like that and I I find it really frustrating even though I'm learning not to be hurt by it anymore. Can you explain? Thank you! Ciao xx

She was giving mean girl energy from the beginning ( I was very excited when I saw her and waved my hands excitedly but she just ignored me and I felt awkward ) but I gave the benefit of the doubt. Every encounter with her was awkward. I feel like she's just purchasing from me to make me feel like I "work for her" not because she likes my products. There were times when I felt like she was sabotaging my small biz. Picked up my fragile product while on a cramped up vehicle and guess what, it got ruined. Now she's suddenly liking things that I like while passive aggressively nitpicking my clothing choices and how I take my photos. They will try so hard to make themselves look superior but they aren't. I wish they would just focus on their own strengths and not covet what others have. Their lives would get better drastically.

The coveting is a big one it's like a one-sided competition that you did not sign up for or even care about. It's like they're competing for the Olympic gold medal in their mind when it comes to their target. I noticed this with female relatives alot. I had a a sister who would literally mirror me and I mean down to the jobs I had or school programs she would do it right after me which was fine if I inspired her to do it. But the problem was she would make little comments like if she lasted at the job longer than I did she would make that a point. I wouldn't even care because obviously it's not meant for me to be there and on top of that I can qualify for much better jobs I'm always moving forward and upward. Because in her mind if if she lasts at a job that I used to be at longer than that would make her better or winning or something like that. The mirroring goes even more deeper such as style choices, of vernacular, talking points being hijacked or in front of people but she would disagree with my talking points in private. They act like defiant teenagers when it comes to people that they are jealous of. Same thing with other s****** relatives they will always try to project the mirroring on to me as if I'm doing it and they know damn well it's not true. They would not give me any credit for inspiring them or would not admit to mirroring me. If you give them any advice just like I did to this female relative they will undermine you like you said in the video really because they don't like you/respect you. They may even know deep down inside your vices right but they're jealousy and envy won't allow them to properly digest what you're saying. If you ever help a jealous person in a gym they're not going to give you any credit they're going to give credit to themselves or anybody else they will even make up lies in the story just so they can take you out of the equation like you didn't do anything. They will make snorky comments which will make you believe that they really do be clocking you and studying you mentioning things that you didn't even notice or care about. If you have the most social media they will mock yet mirror the way that you post (vernacular, jokes, memes pics, any interests, hobbies, you share) even down to the pictures that you take, to make themselves look interesting even tho they dragged you for it prior. If your spiritual then they want to be spiritual but they won't do the work they'll just cut corners so they can look like they're doing something on the outside but everything that they do has something to do with competing with you. I like to think that it would spark you to go on your own journey where it's no longer about me and it's about your own Ascension, but for the most part they are always in a one-sided mental competition with you. I hardly go on with any of the women in my family and looking back ever since I was a kid it's always been because of jealousy and envy. And everything to these people, never rubbed anything into their faces even try helping them in hopes of them finding love within themselves thus reducing the jealousy but it still didn't work. They will resent you for it either way. It's best to just keep your distance from now. Because I don't notice the mirroring me but it doesn't really bother me that much to point it out as long as you disrespectful towards me... but because they know they are not The originators they will always try to shade the OG. If you try to show them new things and new ways of living they will reject it but will turn around and do those things and say that they inspired you or if they hang around another group of people who do the same thing that you try to get them to do, they will act like they put them on game if that makes sense. They just never want to give you any credit or recognition even though they are totally inspired by every aspect of you it's very sick. I have female relatives even copy my hair color and don't get me wrong there's nothing wrong with being inspired by someone's style and doing something similar. But this person always makes it a point to say that somebody is jealous of her or mimicking her but I never say anything when she does it to me but I'm just sit there and look at her like she crazy. Now of course if you hang out with someone you might pick up on little things about each other and start doing the same thing but when you try to make it a thing like I'm the one that puts you up on game that's when I have a problem. They will even try to come at your romantic interests too secretly because they also covet the men that you may attract. They may not even be interested in the guy at all but just the fact that you have him or the fact that you are into someone they will force themselves to feel the same way. Or they will try to discourage you from being with that person by making bad character analysis towards them so that they can have a chance with them behind the scenes. I also noticed most of all of that when someone is jealous of you, they will constantly try to provoke you because they are energy vampires and they need to get that energetic feed. When you call them out for their snarky comments, they're always saying that they're playing or just joking believe you me they are not. Cuz remember everything in their mind is it meant a competition between you and them so when you make moves and level up in life, they think you're trying to quote on quote upstage them when you're really just focusing on making your life better. They're in a constant competition so they take your growth as a personal attack.

I have a cousin like this. More successful than me and older than me. But, in my family I am their scapegoat. I’m the weird one. I am introverted when it comes to phone calls and so I text but I rarely ever call people just to talk. I never saw my cousin calling me, and when she did I was either busy or sleeping. She convinced herself and the whole family that I disliked her and I never wanted to talk. She’s jealous of my body on account I have a more curvy figure and she points out my body every time we interact. My cousin is a shorter, more petite woman (which is nothing wrong she should love her body!). She tries every step of the way to convince everyone that I am a “mean girl”, “bully”, “bitch”, etc. She calls me a bitch and tries taunting me. I don’t feed into her narratives and just ignore her. She has been doing this while I was an preteen/teenager and she was an adult around 12 years older than me. Update: I just had remembered the same cousin had told me I shouldn’t be a godmother because she felt I wouldn’t be able to provide for my godson. She also insinuated that she would be a better fit than me even though my godson barely knows her or bonds with her as I do

Can you do a video on narcissism. My family almost killed me with jealous. I told them they're jealous. But they all reply "what's there to b jealous of?" I am more attractive. Great body, have an architectural degree, i was a good student. I am very calculative, smart, n everything they're not. The one n only thing i fail at is social life. So they label me a "loser" "retarded" bla bla. My mother was going to friends, family n neighbors saying "she is crazy. She studied too hard, now she's retarded" so everyone thinks i am crazy. While um living alone in apartment, working eating. I don't know how crazy retarded person is able to do that tho 🤣😂. My mother is EVIL to me. Plz tell me why that is? Jealousy might b the root of it. But she destroyed my life, n i don't know why someone would ruin their own daughter's life 🤔 honestly. It's not logical.

I would never give away my crown and I didn't know everything I now know. Much was revealed about Yolandae within the last 48 hours. When she was presented via KZfaq, I was initially excited because I thought she cared and was a genuine friend and thought she naturally inherited the royal title of Queen such as myself (as it relates to US line of success). I didn't know she was involved with the setup. I received back handed comments from her and her sister, but I decided not to pursue argument because it will get out of hand fast (my aunt watching). There is nothing she can say to mend the friendship, but as with anyone I don't hate her and I moved on. She only want a title from me. Request to submit this statement to the US Supreme Court.

Of all the totally ridiculous things to get jealous of was my cat flap by my upstairs neighbour. Like wtf, my cat flap was what I bought and PAID FOR OUT OF MY OWN MONEY. Totally pathetic, I laugh about it now, but was one of many bigger issues with my bullying neighbour. It's a real shame I use to invite neighbours in my home for tea and chat. Sadly I have had to stop, I'm polite and say hello but no longer do I get myself involved it saves all the stress and heartache from people who just want to take all the time. Regarding with people with eupd and special needs THEY are more likely to be abused to be and taken advantage of by other people. I know my care co ordinator had to put a protection order on me as part of my recovery and because I am a vulnerable adult in law! It was part of the care plan and safeguarding and not up for debate or justification as to "why" from non qualified or untrained people.

That is ridiculous...I must agree! Sometimes it doesn't take much for someone prone to jealousy to become envious of something we would never think of. This really tells you a lot about the person's mind, their self-esteem, and their emotional needs. I'm sorry you had to go through that.

The made me think of my ex’s crazy ex freaking nanny. What psycho she was. Every time we posted pics of us out and about. She would contact my then boyfriend and fill his head with all of this crazy stuff regarding his children and ex wife. He stupidly believed every word that came out of her mouth. Thinking his kids were in harms way or being neglected in some fashion. The last day of my very first vacation ever which he took me on for my birthday. She messaged him to tell him of a phots his ex posted in social media claiming she looked like she was on drugs. The day after we got back from a romantic weekend in Atlantic City she sent him a photo of his ex wife in a bikini with the caption I’m embarrassed for you and your children 😑. Let me back track the week before she brought up in random conversation about nude photos she stumbled on the kids tablet of his ex wife. Then proceeded I follow that up to with bikini photos. I caught on to her pattern and was acted to post pics of us. He was so fooled by this girl and felt so indebted to her for all of her help during his divorce. He could not see what a manipulator she is. When I first met her day before Christmas Eve I gave her gifts of handmade soaps. I make it from scratch it’s a hobby I really enjoy. It’s time consuming and I made a set for her, her fiancé and mother. She did not look me in the eye when I handed it to her. Nor did she thank me! I had only 2 hours to spend there. I’m a single mother and needed to prepare as well for my child. She held me up and made me 2 hours late! No matter how many times I said I needed to leave. She decided plugging in the easy bake oven and making cakes was more important hen my time. Crazy crazy girl and the reason we are not together. He is literally the weakest minded man I have ever met.

I have a much older cousin who exhibited most of these behaviors especially at family get “togethers” and unfortunately for me and a few other family members, none of the elders ever “checked” her on her lousy behaviors. They coddled her and protected her. One day, I simply had enough and began speaking harshly AT her on issues that she would inappropriately began espousing before her captive audience whom most of which are seemingly cut from the same dung soiled cloth. I think that I was the only one who I know of who has ever stood up to her. My own mother coddled and made excuses for this old woman’s Ratchetness telling me how hard she had it and has been through a lot. That was very disappointing because my mother as well and other elders in the family put their children last at times that were totally unnecessary causing some emotional strife. Whenever this old broad would see that one of us received something nice regardless of what it was, she would go on the war path of obtaining something greater and better USING our mothers to always try and show us up. Then have an attitude towards us and start spewing more trash from her loud mouth to try and embarrass her intended targets of contempt and bitter hatred for. She’s managed to keep her litter of children, grand children and great grand children within the same murky swamp that she lives as “Queen 🐝 “ Much of her offspring exhibits the same fecal matter personality traits. Needless to say, I stopped all contact with these people and wished that while my mother was still living and able to get around, I would’ve stopped any and all interactions with them 30+ years ago!
