How to pick the right gua sha for you. This is a question I get often. There are so many gua sha tools out there, how do you know what one to buy. I will break down 3 things you need to know before purchasing your gua sha.

Hi Kaity.Thank you for this fabulous informative video you have posted.I am new to all this.Could you advise me which shape tool would work best for use on the tummy & thigh areas of the body. Also would you recommend having the comb time for those areas or doesn't it matter. Just subscribed to your channel.Looking forward to following you.🤗

Hey Jayne! Thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment! For the body I would recommend something with just a slight curve. I would avoid the comb as you need a bit more pressure on the body and don’t want to scratch yourself. If you look in the information of the video I have a link to opalroots intro page and in that a link to amazon. You will see facial tools and I actually have one linked that is stainless steel. This is the one I use for my body. I prefer over stone bc I use a good bit of oil on the body and I have dropped a few that have cracked. I feel I have less control with the body then the face and they tend to fall out of my hand (might be a personal problem 😂but stainless steel won’t crack!). It has a nice shape and it’s super affordable especially yo start out. Let me know if that helps or if you need me to send the link directly. Thanks again for supporting my channel

@Mindset & Energy with Kaity Thank you! So helpful! But with most the gua shas shown as unavailable on opal roots, would you recommend any other options? I'm just starting out but believe I'll really love and benefit from it. I just got a cheapy heart shaped one I got off Amazon today, even without properly using it, I already really don't like it. It's too small and the cleft is too narrow for my jawline. Other than the link for the Heat Can Feel tool, do you have any other recommendations? Im looking for a moderate priced tool, under $50 as my starter tool?

Hey Stacy! I apologize for the late response. Yes unfortunately I am closing my store therefore not restocking the guashas. I do have a few recommended on my amazon storefront. These are the few cheap ones I own and like. I personally like stainless steel right now simply because I have had a few situations where I have (or my kids who love gua sha as well) have dropped them on the bathroom floor and cracked. Honestly asking because I'm new to all of this, I'm trying to get into skincare so does it actually work? I saw a tiktok (not very reliable I know) that said it tightens the face, helps with wrinkles/fine lines and contributes to blood circulation. Is this true? I want to prevent wrinkles as much as I can.

Hey! Great question. So I find it works wonders if done consistently. It will gradually lift and iron out lines. How? You are working with the muscles to lift and plump and breaking up fascia on deep lines. It won't be a miracle but def worth to prevent!

I wanna buy Gua Sha but they are really expensive and I can't afford that so can I buy fake one will it us the same result cz the shapes are same it's just the quality which is different 🥰

Yes you will get the same results so don’t worry. They use to use spoons (some people still do) it’s all about the shape and using it probably with your face shape. I plan to do a full face tutorial on how to use soon❤️

It should say in the description 100% genuine (whatever stone you are getting. Example Jade). Also read the reviews!!

I actually love the metallic gua Saha. You obviously won’t get the benefit of the stones however super durable. I have one and dropped about 100 times and don’t have to worry about it breaking

I prefer using real stone. You can of course use what you wish but I wouldn’t recommend rubbing plastic on the skin

You are showing neck massage against lymphatic system - very dangerous. Need to go towards big lymphatic nodes

Hey Anna, I was taught to first lift and open then to drain. It depends if you are working with the muscles…which you press deeper and lift or the lymphatic system which is used with feather like pressure and pull down
