How to know when to re-jet carburetor while tuning fuel/air mixture screw

You don’t want to turn fuel/air mix screw out more then 3.5 turns. If your engines idle keeps rising and it wants another half turn out you will need a bigger jet on the pilot. So that you can bring the fuel/mix screw into a range of 1-2.5 turns out
