happy days---looked simple and actually was---- first tiler tried to tell me it was a big job and quoted me £300 for labour for mat laying on own in kitchen which is about 6ft by 7 ft very small-i saw your video-contacted another guy and he said do it yourself which i did taking my time electrican charged £40-i supplied stuff-great video thanks again

Beautiful video! I`m interesting with installing the same on my ensuite bathroom. It`s 1,8 x 1.8 m (may be I have to exclude an under toilet pan area). However... it has a trap at the centre of the floor, so... no self leveling mixtures can be used... It needs for a slightly sloped to the centre screed. In this case the thickness of adhesive between heating element and tiles will be uneven. Is that acceptable? Is this set suitable for such floor configuration, please? Thank you.

Hi Alexander - thanks for your comment. So long as there wasn't a huge difference in the thickness of the adhesive (1-3mm max) then it shouldn't be a problem. Any more than that however and you may find that some of the tiles get hotter than others when the underfloor heating is in use. Hope this helps. Tile Mountain

Never put a sensor in like that. Should be in a tube so i can be removed if it stops working

Some manufactories supply a tube and recommend fitting the sensor in the tube, but there are other that don't, it's a very valued point to make this thank you, everyone should check the instructions first.

Hi, Could you use any thermostat for the matt. I purchased a Dass electric mat but didn't realise it came with no thermostat. I am a bit stuck. Thank you

Hi there - thanks for your comment. We would usually advise contacting the manufacturer of the mats to check their advice in this regard. However, generally speaking, you can use any appropriate thermostat with most underfloor heating products. Hi Plum_Stone - thanks for your comment. Yes - that's exactly what you do. Ensure you level the floor (if needed), then lay your heating mats, connect them up, then place your tile adhesive on top and finally lay the tiles. Good day, is it possible to do all this as you do on the wall on the surface of the tile and then glue the mirror so that the room was warm at the same time and there was no steam

To be honest with you, I've never tried this so I wouldn't recommend attempting it, however don't rule it out maybe contact the manufacture to get there advise.

What do you need to buy to fix to electics

Yes electricity will need to be supplied to the unit, please only use a qualified electrician to do the main connections. ( please to do not attempt to content to the mains yourself if your not qualified )

sad that you dont continue.... and the next video is showing tiling on wood, not on floor heating.... so how to tile on floor heating mesh...
