I may not know much about masonry, other than my uncle was an artist when it came to bricklaying - but I do know this: It’s darn hard on the knees, and watching Budd on KZfaq is always a happy time with humming and whistling… and teaching anyone who wants to learn the basics of bricklaying! Centre line is wrong you have different size cuts either side.

be good to see some filming of the old brickwork and flint work around norfolk ,believe a lot of dutch brickwork with the gables , some historic stuff in yarmouth with the "rows" and the remains of the town wall ,hope your good budd

@BuildingwithBudd I'm wanting to build square pillar from brick, to which I would like to affix a cast iron fence. I looked through your archive, but didn't seem to find one that fitted the job. Can you recommend one of your videos which might match sort of the style of building a pillar, roughtly 1,8 meters tall
