Whoa! I love this video. The photography is excellent. The organization is fantastic. Fabulous! Your layouts are lovely: the coordination of colors, the shading with green rather than the typical Vintage Photo, even the book you’re placing your collages into. It’s all great! Thank you very much!

Thank you! Art was my minor in college, but that doesn't mean a person can do anything and everything with art. This is what I needed to guide my junk journaling compositions. Junk journaling is about placement and texture on a small level. This is really good advice on how to manage that. Just what I needed.

This is amazing! I think I’ve been doing this subconsciously, because centering the focal object seems less interesting to me, compared to having it off center. But I never heard it explained this way, and now it makes sense! Thank you!

Hi Christine! Quick question ...I bought some inks. I wanted to use them to paint white paper, then use a stencil with another ink colour and then use some stamps. The ink the seller recommended me for that was distress oxide,but for the stamps and painting all the sheet its a bit tough. And if I use water sometimes is just a mess. Do you think i should change ink or am I doing something wrong?
@christinemleung
@christinemleung Жыл бұрын
Hi Lucia. If you are going to use water I would recommend Momento inks or archival inks. They are waterproof once dry. Oxide inks are water soluble so they are great if you want to stamp an image then use a water brush pen to drag the color to shade in the rest of the image. I hope this helps.

Hi Rhonda. I sincerely apologize. If you were watching my older videos, I had volume control issues. I was editing with 5 kids in the house..😬. Could you do me a favour and watch my most recent video and give me your feedback. I have the music down to 2%. If it’s still an issue, I will consider getting rid of it all together. Thank you so much for your honesty and sharing your concerns.

@@christinemleung I am an older woman who has been scrapbooking for at least 25 years and I want to learn the newer techniques. You are a very gifted and talented lady and I want to learn how to layer smaller items like you demonstrated. I can’t seem to make my layers look sophisticated and elemental, they just look frumpy and chaotic. That’s why I was concentrating so hard on your videos and became frustrated with the music. I will go view your newer material and thank you for understanding.

OMG this was so helpful for me! I am a beginner and I already love junk journaling but I have been really struggling with finding ephemera and then knowing what to do with it. I also struggle with what my book page should look like: first layers. Or in other words how to start a page. But I am learning. Your work is beautiful! So many eye catching pieces you use.

Glad it was helpful! Enjoy the process my new crafty friend. You’ll find yourself liking some pages and hating others. That’s ok. Even after 12 years of crating I still find myself ripping isles out of scrapbook because it didn’t work😂.
