I would just get some pipe and make a 45 degree miter cut on the fly if you don’t have your layout or coordinates for the dummy leg

why not put a square on the face of the 90 and then use the tape?

Если делать такие работы регулярно появится и опыт. Любого поставь на новую работу - будут сложности. Хоть здесь, хоть в России . Dummy Leg нужно бы варить 7018 заполнение и облицовку, но уж если в сварочном требовании (WPS - welding procedure specification) заложены процессы сварки то нужно их выполнять. P.S - хорошая работа. Good job!👍

One tic is better than two when using soapstone. Old brake operator told me if you can't hit the mark on the first try, you are doing it wrong. Haha. Also helps if you are doing layout and someone else is fitting. They don't have to guess which tic to go from. Just add a "tail" to the tick so they know which end is which.
