Is it Allot or A Lot, is it I or Me, is it Tell or Say, is it Hear or Listen, is it Accept or Except, is it Principal or Principle, is it Massage or Message? And something that I still ponder upon....Are they really that out-going, or are they going out?!
English is a funny language. And all my life, I've hated it. Because not only is it NOT my mother tongue, but it was also extremely confusing. But as our English Teacher always said, 'English is the window to the world!' Well...we had to learn it.
My journey is of a young girl who was scared of speaking in English even infront of her friends to someone who went on to representing India at the World Championship of Public Speaking at Orlando, Florida in 2012 by Toastmasters International.
So in this 8 min video, I have summarised, my journey of how I learnt English for FREE without attending any expensive Spoken English classes.
I hope my methods work for you too!

Actually ma,am I want to tell you something about me, my listening power is very strong whatever you tell us on the urban fight channel . I can easily understand what you say in the URBAN FIGHT channel videos.But I really have a problem that I cannot talk to others for much longer. Hey Gaurav! It's great to know that you are practising by watching our videos. To get better at speaking, you need to practise speaking as much as you can. As mentioned in this video... repeat dialogues from your favourite movies infront of a mirror, read a chapter from a book out loud infront of a friend and try to talk to your friends in English rather than your local language. That way, all of you will learn speaking together. It's not tough. It just takes time and little effort everyday. :)

I have read a lot of novels , wrote my views on many topics in comment sections and even listened to podcasts , interviews, English movies . What I've never tried is to speak in English , so I'm putting effort to stop my hesitation and get a command on it . इस अंग्रेज़ी से हमारी भी घनघोर दुश्मनी है , उसका कारण यह है की लोग आपके पढ़े लिखे होने और बुद्धिमानी को इसी से तौलते हैं। अपनी मातृभाषा चाहे वो तेलगु, तमिल, कन्नड़ या मैथिली इत्यादि हो उसकी निंदा करते हैं।

The best way to learn speaking English is listening in English.. just the way we have learnt speaking in our mother tongue in our childhood without knowing grammar... We just used to listen to people around us and then we started picking up the phrases... The same method is applicable for learning English..so listen to English content as much as possible 🙂
