Look around at the Makita web site, they should also have an adapter for the router, to allow it to run on a track saw track. I know for my DeWalt one I got the track saw adapter, plunge base, and the edge guide.

The square base that Comes with the Makita routers is actually a base that can tilt you you can do chamfers with a straight bit. I used mine as a fixed base in a router table. Also check out their 195136-9 parallel guide. Its the big brother for the one that Comes with the router.

One thing that I really like is how you see Scott using the stuff he gets from Gaston really showing how much of it is not just publicity stunt (here the red crayon for marking board). I really hate when creators I watch are showing stuff and then you never see it ever again as if not good or actually useful.

I bought the compact Makita router because you use it. Mine came with the straight guide, batteries and charger. I made other bases for it as well. I love your videos.
