I am trying to connect Ubisoft Connect to my steam account so I can play the Assassin's Creed Bundle I purchased... this solution does not seem to work as the prompt for the activation key does not show up when I launch Assassin's Creed on Steam. I tried playing the game, but it launched and then a few seconds after crashed. Any suggestions?

The issue with this Example/Tutorial is that you are using a free to play game to while the others have the game in Ubisoft but when they go through steam the only button that shows up is for add to cart. It would've been helpful if for example I bought a game (For Honor) from the Ubisoft connect launcher but I want to connect it through steam.

This has got to be the most convoluted way of playing a damn game. I’ve been back and forth with Ubisoft support for going on three days now. We still can’t figure out why I can’t see my purchased game in my library

Steam and ubisoft need to get it together because I do this exact same thing but mine required a CD key to link the accounts and apparently steam no longer provide those keys making it impossible to link my account.

You could purchase a key via eneba and use it to link your account. If it needs a used one i could borrow you one of mine

When switching computers somehow it no longer required a key. I do not know how or why it worked but it did 🤷‍♂️

Does not make sense that all the ubisoft games i bough on steam are linked to my ubi account yet the only game i need on steam (r6 siege) the only one i bought on connect will not transfer or give me the option to install/link it via steam. What an annoyance. I just want to change my spoken language which can only be done from steam it looks like,.........

1:35 just log out of Ubisoft Connect and Steam. Log in just to Steam and run the Ubisoft game in Steam. The Ubisoft log in will pop up. After the login your accounts should be linked.

no good for me unfortunately. my accounts are linked, but Steam still shows me a purchase button for AC Odyssey even though i own it on Ubisoft Connect.

So you have to buy the game a second time in order to play it? I'm currently having issues with The Division telling me it cant reach the Ubisoft servers when I try and launch it so figure its because I'm launching it through steam, is there any other way to fix this?

This is the most incompetent way of trying to link any sort of game just so it can be played. I've been trying to play rainbow but the ubisoft launcher does not recognize I have it and i cannot play it.

this is very tricky if you have linked your another ubi account to steam and then you want to unlink that account to have another ubi account linked. the most unbelievable part is that there is no any information on the official website...

Inside the game which I'm trying to get steam to recognize my Ubisoft account, it says I'm connected to some other Ubisoft account that does not exist. And there is no way of unlinking anything in steam. This is a mess.

If you buy and install it through steam as of right now you will get everything you had on your old account
