Great video with good information! I do pre-pack all my items but I keep my listings under 200. I don't seal up my package until it's sold. I like the convenience of it. I can get it to the post office pretty fast since I'm only a block away. If I had more inventory, I probably wouldn't pre-pack. Like your haircut, Lonnie!

Such a great video and help. I didn't know you could change the promoted fee charge. I put my new listings to 2.1% , But How do I change the ones I already have promoted? And so many thanks for the shipping, lesson on knowing the weight and not packaging Immediately before listing. I am a small reseller and pack all my stuff before listing, and will continue for now, but it baffled me how you all didn't pack first. Thanks again.

You should be able to edit or bulk edit to change it.

@@shedflips Thanks, I finally figured it out. To change percent of promoted listing. - click, edit promoted listing, stop listing, edit promoted listing. It takes you back to the Listing page. Click on edit promoted listing again, click fixed rate, set to 2.1% and click promote. Then refresh your listing page for the new percentage. 😎👍

For flaws, if it's not obvious, I'll go into a photo editor and draw a little red circle with an arrow. It saves having to put yourself or some other foreign object in a picture.

I see that you choose to pass your shipping discount to the customer. A couple things make me question how this would be a smart business decision for me. First is shipping supplies [boxes, poly bags, bubble wrap, paper, tape, shipping labels and so on] and second eBay fees that charge the same % on shipping 13 to 20ish percent of the cost of shipping added. If the shipping you charge a customer is 10.00 and you promote at 7% including the eBay fees would cost 2.00. All of this is a question not necessarily a statement. Just looking for clarification as to why it would be best for me to discount the shipping like you guys do.

For anything under a lb I just use 1 lb and hopefully It can go 12oz and I'll make an extra like .40 -.60 cents. 😄

Great video! People complain about people telling others how to sell on Ebay. I personally feel you guys do a great and necessary service. I don't care how many people sell on ebay but rather that they do it right leaving the eBay buyer with a good experience. Hi Great teaching video, I’ve been selling for 4 years & learned a couple new things. Something I started doing similar to listing at say $10.99 (since I have been stopping listings & selling similar to boost sales) is to list the item at $10.93 to denote the original listing was in 2023 or $10.92 to show original listing was in 2022.

I'm pretty sure that if you change or add more pictures that it will not register as a listing the same thing twice. The pictures have codes that identify if they are the same or not.

I'm a little confused. I knew Volume Pricing worked for multi-quantity listings, but I thought I had read where it also worked 'store-wide". IE: If someone buys 3 different items, then the appropriate discount would apply to each item. Did I mis-read something? Thanks again for all the hints, tips and tricks.

You can set it up in your promotions. Or set it up for multi-quantity items. There is also an option for a shipping discount for any items you choose for it to affect. I hope that makes sense.

I’ve found, when selling similar (buy it now) the new item seems to be coming up with accept offers and an amount that will be automatically accepted. Having to watch out for that.
