OMG! Seeing you set your iPhone to crop and pre-select the filter ALONE has saved me SO MUCH TIME! I had been taking them regular dimensions, then going back on my phone & cropping/filtering. Hey Alina, you are very correct. Posh has very easy fees to understand and listing ease. Ebay is a pain with a fee for EVERYTHING. This video is great.

I see that you are straight-up listing by description of item. That's a big change from what I learned from you during the eBay days....and I think initially on Poshmark? So I love this. Yeah, what you say kind of leads into all the subjective wording too. Like when people start the title with: Look! - Rare! - Beautiful! - Cool! - or words similar to that. As a buyer I don't want to look at that item because of that; if anything it turns me off because I'm so tired of seeing those words. Like, if I want to buy the sweater it's not going to be because the title says, LOOK RARE COOL or something like that...

This was my first time watching one of your videos and it was extremely helpful! And listening to and watching you list your items was definitely helpful (for several reasons). I’ve been really struggling with how time-consuming the whole process is, so I’m going to try your much faster method of doing things! I can totally relate to spending too much time trying to find the right description of the clothing pieces, etc., so when you said to not let yourself “get stuck” it totally hit home and I’m going to tell myself that from now on! I found your video very interesting. Thanks for giving us a peek into your world. You really are organized and know what you are doing. I have been a thrift store shopper for most of my life. I am 74. Many a time I have come across clothing items that were very inexpensive but were not my size. If I had a business such as yours, I would snap such items up and resell them. I like that a storefront is not needed. If seems as if you just need to set up a dedicated room in your house to work out of. Ok, I am going back and look at the rest of the video now. I am 27 minutes in so far.

You could also sort them within each category based on whether they have a style number, and start with those, instead of searching for those later

I've dabbled at marketplace and ebay for years, selling off personal belongings. after watching a few of you sellers on KZfaq, I decided to start a business and give this a try. went to ten 50% off goodwills over two days and have 163 items at an average of $3 each (going to go to our outlet as soon as I have this all listed). anyway, while I'm waiting for my supplies to come tomorrow from Amazon, I have all items logged and I'm about to go sort them (on your advice). tomorrow's the big day. steaming, photographing, bagging, and listing. going to say, as a new seller, the hardest part is learning what sells and what price to ask. I need a buyer wanting what I bought in the size i bought it. steep learning curve for that, but videos like this help with the mechanics. again, it's very appreciated! sandy

Sandy, are you using Android? I can only upload one photo from the gallery, but if I choose to upload from Google Photos, I can pick multiple photos.

@@tnw4 I just tried this on my android and it did let me choose multiples with Google photos. Before this last update I don't remember it letting me choose from Google instead of gallery. This is super helpful because my phone takes better photos but I would use the iPad because of time. So glad to catch your comment!

Questioning not putting measurements on everything. How do you protect yourself if someone says it’s the wrong size? I put all measurements on everything and it’s saved me a couple of times.

Jennifer Howe Me too. I’m considering listing all shoes with measurements showing for width and length .it saved me when Poshmark decided in my favor because one of the pics showed exact size when customer claimed size was wrong.

Sanya omerovic , You need to measure to be sure you sell the right size. I was lucky I bought 2 identical pairs of shoes (model and size) but in different colors on eBay, but one pair was sized wrong by manufacturer, it was much bigger. I took several pics and was able to send it back to a seller for free. If she measured them she would see the difference and would mention it in her listing.

Jennifer Howe How does having the measurements save you from a wrong size claim? I would think as long as you have a picture of the size tag, you will be covered for that. Buyers can always dispute your measurements but if the size tag says it’s a large it’s a large for that brand. I do always list measurements but it’s because I personally would not buy something online without measurements.

Jenn sometimes a garment is washed or dried incorrectly. Or maybe this shirt was put in Goodwill cause it didn’t fit right and was mislabeled by manufacturer. If a man’s size large is usually 24” across the chest we’re all good. If it’s measuring 21” then my noting that saves me when someone says it doesn’t fit. 😉

Great content, learned a few things. I have about 70 items to list starting tomorrow. This is raw, and we can relate to your aches & pains, back pains and so on. Plus it does motivate us to hustle. When I'm listing I watch videos or listen to videos rather so I know there's others just like me. Keep these coming. Thank you.
