Thanks for the tutorial! I am a music teacher and a performer. I will use this advice to be able to stream lesson tips... or run a live Q/A session... and to perform from my home studio. I also am an admin and contributor to a political podcast, so I will use this advice when I post live stream commentary. This is really helpful... so much more than I figured possible, to reach wider audiences on multiple platforms all at once rather than repeating or posting a recording later of a single live session. Hey there David, Bad News: I tried to follow along step by step but couldn't find the 'allow live streaming meetings' option. So I did a little more digging and it turns out (at least here in the USA as of today 9/20) you have to have a paid account with Zoom to Livestream. I clipped this from our ZOOM help screen: Prerequisites Streaming for Meetings Pro, Business, Education, or Enterprise account (among other things snipped by Rose-Ellen) Streaming for Webinars Pro, Business, Education, or Enterprise account (among other things snipped by Rose-Ellen) Thought you might want to know. Hi David, how do you add Facebook Groups to the share streaming option, when I set it up the first time I put in a practice fb group that I have, now I have created a live group to steam zoom into but I don’t know how to find it on the drop down box where you pick which fb group you want to live steam to?

HI David, thank you for your tutorial. Does YT record and post the live sessions automatically or do I upload them from the zoom file? Also, to view chat; are you using a separate device to see the live chat or is it on your zoom screen? I am showing jewelry and eventually will do live auctions, so I must be able to see chat and it would be advantageous to have full screen on the presentation and monitor the chat on another device. This is helpful - better than the either/or option in Zoom for FB and YT streams. Will the restream application pull from OBS? Looks like a great way to minimize processor duty at the source and it appears that a single stream from the source to the restream server will not tax the internet connection as much as OBS shooting multiple streams on its own. Does this sound right?

Hi David, thanks for this great video, you're a star. I have one important question: You surely know that during a Zoom meeting where several languages are spoken, professional interpreters join in to translate from one language to another so that the participants can unserstand the speakers. Right, when this new Live Streaming function is launched will interpreters be somehow informed that their work (the audio out channels with their translation) is being recorded? Does a pop-up also appear saying 'This session is being recorded' like when clicking on the 'Record' icon? For us, conference interpreters, this is crucial, as our copyright rights could be infringed if we were not informed. Thank you so much for your help and have a lovely day!

I think you can distribute your Facebook page link or KZfaq page link. So when its time, that video will be what will show up on the pages.

What upload speed is needed surely 18Mbs is plenty? We are having trouble

Yes, that’s loads. Anything above 10mb is fine. You might need to shut down other software running in your computer. They could be eating up the computers memory.
