My oldest daughter is an alcoholic 😢, she's been in treatment more than once, she recently backslid bad, now we don't speak😢, but I just keep praying God will touch her before it's too late 🙏🙏🙏🙏 alcohol is evil and useless

It is so hard to watch our adult children live in spiritual darkness. May God give us grace to keep praying and looking to Him for wisdom and strength as we wait for Him to grant them repentance and saving faith.

Friend I'm persuaded to respond to your comment here after reading your open hearted confession. Don't be discouraged ever. You continue to trust that God CAN and WILL heal you. We all fall short of Gods glory but when we recognize our sinful nature and our inability to help ourselves we admit we need HIM and confess and repent. The outcome is that HE is so faithful to hear us and heal us. We are forgiven. Don't lose hope if you fail again and again. Immediately recognize you are wrong and repent. I, as many understand how sins become deep rooted as Brother Daniel explains here. Praise and Glory to the Wonderful and Mighty to save GOD we have in our King JESUS CHRIST!!! NO MATTER HOW WE FAIL, HE NEVER GIVES UP ON US...I pray for you dear friend and I also encourage others who read my words here to also. We must support each other in prayer and always give thanks to our Saviour for each other💜💜💜

Just know that God forgives you. God doesn’t look at your sin, he looks at your heart… you obviously have a good heart that wants freedom in God from sin, so dont worry because you’re free by his grace. Just keep fighting the good fight and don’t give up. Amen 🙏

@@greganderson2239 God doesn't look at sin that has been repented for . Forgive and be forgiven( including oneself) Unrepentant sin WILL BE LOOKED AT AND JUDGED. Confess your sins and He is faithful to forgive. I agree with you that we are saved by grace alone. A free gift offered to all who want to accept it. Nothing needed but FAITH 💜💜💜

It’s okay my friend. Please, do not hate yourself. I understand your grief though, my biggest battle was sexual sin. I tried and tried through my own WILL to stop, I guess in my delusion I wanted to prove to God that I wanted him so much that I would stop of my own will. But I would fail again and again and again and AGAIN! And it became very depressing, I would always give in and always feel true grief afterward. But my friend, that is why we WORSHIP OUR LORD! For He has almighty mercy and grace! And all you have to do is surrender to it! That is what I did. And I understand my friend, when you are in the moment and the temptation is rife, you almost don’t want to ask for it to be taken away, Satan whispers in your ear “go on, just do it. One last time” and “if you just do it you’ll feel so much better”, so you give in, and then it’s “oooooh, you disgusting rat. You’ve failed again. Do you even deserve mercy? Why even try to stop, you clearly can’t”. BUT DO NOT LISTEN. SATAN LIES, TEMPTS, SHAMES AND BLASPHEMIES! But believe me friend, just find the strength to ask, ask for the temptation to leave you, and all will be given. Surrender! Truly my friend, the feeling you get from resisting is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much greater than the quick high from giving in. Ohhh it’s magnificent, you can just bask in His almighty glory! On another note, a few things that worked/work for me are: firstly, just to sit with the feelings, close your eyes and just be with it and find peace with it, not accepting it, but just being with it, then, ask for it to be taken away and place it in the hands of our Father. Second, surround yourself with people whenever the temptation arises ( if it comes up on Fridays like you said, maybe go to the cinema on Fridays, or go out with a good friend (who doesn’t encourage what you are trying to resist)). Thirdly, imagine Jesus. Just imagine Him in the room with you, talking to you, laughing with you, loving you. I find that, if I do that I can’t even bring my self to sin because I love Him so so so much! And finally, start marking the days or times you’ve resisted. Obviously I don’t know you, but if your anything like me you will want to get that number as high as possible. But also, if you do give in. Please, don’t hate yourself for one second. Turn to Jesus and repent! Ask for His beautiful mercy! Jesus knows you and wants you to succeed! But He can’t forgive you if you can’t forgive others...that includes yourself, so forgive yourself and REPENT TO JESUS BECAUSE HE LOVES YOU AND CHERISHES YOU! ACCEPT HIM! And lastly, sorry this has been a novel, I just want to tell you how much Jesus, God and I love you. Jesus DIED just so you could be free, God sent His only Son to DIE just so you could be freed from your sin. How much must they love and treasure you? And I and They are truly, wholeheartedly rooting for you my beautiful friend. You bless your precious soul. And praise our Almighty Lord GOD AND JESUS! AMMMMMMMEEENNNNN! ❤✨

Amen 🙏 I'm going though withdrawals from that right now on then for pain and was taken off abruptly no taper and stigmatized before a surgery its wrong, but I just don't want those if this is what happens to you and you are left with nothing. I'll suffer with chronic pain before I go through this again. I pray for you as well amen 🙏

Lord God, You know the struggles aroolie and others have, whether with food/sugar or anything. There is nothing that You can’t do. I ask that You help those who have even a bit of desire to repent to do so now. In Jesus precious name, amen!

The best thing we can do is read the Bible every day and read it at night when we r up, God I pray for David and me and all the saints change our life that we would walk in Jesus foot steps, Jeremiah 33-3 God says call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.

Forgive them for your own forgiveness and remember God promises vengeance is his. Rest in that. Choose to forgive so you can be forgiven and let it go. We can never out do God and his justice nor mercy for even us. Remember that none of us are good without Jesus. Not a one. Choose forgiveness so it doesn't keep you in the bondage of unforgiveness
