The X4 is SCT Performance's giant leap into the future of vehicle PCM tuning and custom tuning. The SCT X4 replaced the venerable, but aging SCT X-Cal 3 and SF3 handheld tuners and offers up a massive improvement in both ergonomics, speed, versatility, and tuning capability all in one awesome device. The SCT X4 tuner has a massive 2.6" x 5.5" full-color LCD screen that makes the X4's tuning, vehicle info, datalogging, and other menus extremely easy to read and navigate. Despite the larger and more advanced screen, the X4 is actually more compact than the outgoing SCT SF3 and X-Cal 3, making it easier to store and handle during tuning or maintenance. The X4 also does away with the massive OBD-II cable that the SF3 and X-Cal 3 needed to lunk around, and replaces it with a smaller and more unassuming cable with an new port on the device itself that allows you to unplug the cable completely.

mine does not work when i try that... It says Datalog files not found.....

Yes something is wrong with mine...I get worse m.p.g. after hooking up and just using for gauges

I have the same issue you have to go on the computer and get the files so you can track the guages support.bamaperformance.com/hc/en-us/articles/202545589-How-to-Datalog-with-the-Bama-SCT-X4-SF4 and when it’s set up just track the guages and if you want to data log hit record

Mine doesn’t have the option for 08 or newer do I have to contact sct support ?

My x4 doesn't come up with any gage's like rpm... temp's.... boost....where do you get a list other than default gages

Can you view the gauges And monitor without data logging? I want to monitor on my stock tune for now

Yeah I would be careful my truck seems to get worse mpg after hooking one of these up to my truck and just using for gauges and info...350$++ and then you have to pay more $$ for a tune$$$$$

You've got to have custom tunes with any tuner if you're wanting to get better mileage...
