One thing I realized as a 5’2” woman is that I looked a lot taller when I lost weight. I lost about 30 pounds a few years ago and I was amazed at how much apparent height it gave me

Agreed. 5’2” and 100 lbs. Also, a flatter chest, I had large bust before a reduction and I always looked heavier and shirts fell like a pregnant figure.

I think being a petite person requires you to work with your body rather than against it. Not all trends are made for us. And that’s okay.

I love these videos because you actually give fashion lessons that we need to know if we care about fashion. I'm already so tall but I have a short torso and long legs, I still love those high waisted wide leg pants with a crop top 😁 I just wear flats or sneakers instead of heels.

Thank you for all your advice on how to look taller. I'm 5"2 also recently I try a pair of wide-leg pants and was amazed at how well they looked on me right when I decided they were the only pants for me from now on, I love them so much that I found my best look.

I’m 5’7” 200lbs. Measurements, 38, 33, 46 and I remember as a child and adolescent, I HATED my size. I’m a big girl. Always have been. All of my peers were shorter and I was teased for being a “giant” or “amazon” Now I love it and I rock those heels like no one’s business. I use all these tips too for length and height. These are wonderful for us goddesses of any stature. You are stunning and I love all of your videos. I’ve just found you and am obsessed! Thank you for being you!

Do you happen to know if mid-length skirts, such as those that hit you mid-knee would make you appear shorter, or would that also go with how you style your clothes? If you could ever share a video on this, or on styling mid-maxi/longer garments, I think that would be helpful as well. Thank you! This video was very helpful to see!

Love this (despite being 5'11"!)... would love to see you styling someone who isn't anywhere near prime physical condition though... so many "plus size" clothing is terribly made or WAY overpriced... something accessible yet fashionable would be lovely!

You are 5'2"???? Omg this will help me so much. I'm 5'4" with a short torso and long legs. Monochrome works the best for my body type. High waist pants are trickayyyy because of my torso lol. Heels are my go to and so flattering. The Levi's 501 prewashed jeans fit so perfect on me, I can't find them though. You always look fabulous, thank you, this video helped me so much, hugs!

I am 5’2” with longer legs. I wear midrise jeans as they are actually hi rise on my body. Ag jeans and frame have many of these. They are pricey but you can get them on sale. As for the Levi’s look at thrift stores. If you can’t find your size you can get them for cheap amd get them tailored. Ive been on the hunt for the perfect jeans and it’s a struggle! After trying on a bunch the Ag and the frame (Paige jeans as well) are my favs.

I’m 5’5 and that’s short too, but I have been using these tricks forever! Black is my go to definitely. Been wearing palacio pants since the 90’s loved them and wore them till this day. I have a shorter torso and a 38 D, I always have to balance. I do have legs for days. I’m Cuban a seamstress has been part of my life forever. That being said I’m very much boho chic !

I'm 4' 10" and 66 years old, I had to learned these things when I was very young, making my own clothing, when I was a teenager, they did not make small or petite sizes then. I was only 87 pounds, I had to teach myself ,with the help of my sister-in-law, who was 7 years older, I was 12 years old, she showed me how to measure and drove me to fabric store, how to buy what I needed, and took me to her house showed me how to make my top and pants, after that I got a sewing machine for my birthday and sewed away till I was around early 20s. Got quite tired of it. But still altered, clothing I purchased till I had my children. Still have to hem slacks, oh yeah always worn heels or boots. bought

I would love more plus size tips, i knew how to dress when i was skinny but what looked good then doesn't look good anymore :D At least i do two things right already, i wear only monochrome looks( all black) and oversized tops with tight pants .

Would love if you got some girlfriends with different body types to show how to adjust to certain styles or companies that look better on some body types. Like baggy jeans on other body types than yours a few video backs.

I am probably the only person but I can't do high waist. When I sit down, it just goes up to my boobs or bunches around my crotch/waist area 😅 I feel like high-waisted bottoms in normal size cut is too much for me, best is mid waist up to my belly button.

You might be short waisted like me. Mid rise can look like high rise on us. I’ve found an 11” rise is as much as I can do. 12” is too much.
